“Key positive u0date. Had a prescription that my wife's doctor sent to the Walgreens we used to use. I let it ride figuring a drug is a drug. NOT only did they not have the product in stock they gave me a co-pay $50 dollars higher than Walgreens. I called my insurance company and they confirmed (as co-pay is a percentage of claimed costs) that Walgreens was over DOUBLE Ashburn pharmacy. I took the time to bother my wife's doctor who sent the prescription to Ashburn. Within an hour they had the order ready (but I had to call Walgreens to have them drop a claim fiked that they did not have in stock). Of course I told wife's doctor to just make Ashburn our preferred pharmacy. Local, friendly, responsive, quicker and significantly cheaper. Perhaps why Walgreens is a diminishing company. SHOP LOCAL.
Locally owned, locally trusted. Have to tell my story (though my 5 review only confirms what EVERYONE knows, Mo at Ashburn Pharmacy is unique. My wife needs a class A medicine (jump through hoops, 30 days at a time) that is Vyvanse that comes in generic. My insurance co-pay is over 20x my generic copay so happy to try generic. Only problem is CVS had none in stock (knowing it is difficult and that the doctor has to send prescription to specific pharmacy I always call CVS ahead of th we prescription and this time nothing within 50 Mike's (and one place had 10 days) Called insurance (AETNA) in a fit and they found Mo and Ashburn. Within two hours drug I. Hand, I believe co-pay even lower than CVS. Stay with the local. Switch to Mo and Ashburn”

“This is the neatest, friendliest, and cleanest HT in this area. Also, above all, this HT has the most helpful staff you'll ever come across. Definitely worth the drive.”

“I still shop here but the Internet reception is null and the wifi doesn't work for customers. So if you want to search for products or use your app to order at Starbucks or at the deli you cannot! They should fix this.”

“We just had great help with the self service checkout at this Harris Teeter. Brenda saw that we were having some problems of our own making and very cheerfully and helpfully stepped in to help. After our watermelon overturned a bag, she helped us get it all off the floor and back in the cart. And when we then, absorbed with reliving our clumsiness, walked off without running our charge card, she found us in the parking lot to clear it up and signed off on our ticket — all with grace and a great smile.”

“I drive out of my way to use this pharmacy because they are always stocked, always efficient, very capable, consistently kind and helpful. Every visit, despite being absolutely slammed at all times of day. They even answered the phone on christmas day. The Ashburn Farm CVS is exceptional.”

“The pharmacist is a wealth of knowledge and sound advice. She was very helpful to guide me on how to recover from travelers sickness, far better than what a doctor at a clinic did for me. And she is super friendly!”

“I just want to shout out the pharmacist and technician at this location, Harris teeter broadlands. They were very helpful, kind, and calm people. It is not easy to be a retail pharmacist these days I am sure, and I just wanted to acknowledge how awesome these two people were. Thanks for your time”

“This particular pharmacy always seems so welcoming. Everyone greets you nicely, things are well-organized on the shelves, and you never have a problem finding what you need. This pharmacy is my one-stop shop for all my medication needs.”

“This location's customer service was
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

It wasn't just one employee who stood out—every interaction I had was exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted warmly. I immediately asked an associate for help locating a product, and she kindly told me to follow her. She then handed me off to another associate who happened to be working in the aisle where the item was located.

After finding my product, I decided to use the restroom before checking out. I left the unpaid item on a nearby top shelf so I could retrieve it afterward. Unfortunately, there were no paper towels in the dispenser. As I exited, an employee entered, and I mentioned the issue. She immediately let back out to grab a new roll, handed me a few paper towels, and apologized for the inconvenience.

To top it all off, the cashier was incredibly pleasant while ringing up my purchase. I never realized how much GREAT customer service can set the tone for a positive day and overall shopping experience.

Thank you, Walgreens, for reminding me that outstanding customer service still exists!”

“It’s overall a great shopping experience at CVS. It’s quick as well as convenience, the product categorisation has been done very nicely. It’s a one stop shop for most of our medical as well as non medical needs.”

“This CVS pharmacy serves the entire Brambleton area and much of Ashburn, so it’s almost always busy—especially during lunch hours and from about 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. If you’re picking up prescriptions during those times, expect a wait.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but on particularly busy days you can tell they’re under a lot of pressure, and it sometimes shows in their interactions with customers. They appear to be short-staffed at times.

There’s plenty of parking, which is a plus. One thing to keep in mind is that they don’t seem to accommodate walk-in vaccinations. I’ve seen several people turned away and asked to schedule an appointment instead.

My biggest complaint is the prescription pickup kiosk/POS system. Having to repeatedly enter personal information every time feels slow and unnecessarily frustrating, especially when there’s already a long line.

Overall, it’s a convenient pharmacy with good staff doing their best under heavy demand, but staffing and the pickup process could definitely be improved.”
