“I was referred to Akina Pharmacy by my doctor who trusted them more than another compounding pharmacy she used earlier. My own experience with them has been positive, getting my prescription in a reasonable amount of time and for a price much lower than a chain pharmacy (my insurance either wouldn't pay or the co-pay was much too high). They were very helpful and friendly ( especially the lady at the front desk) - one of the pharmacists also took the time to explain the medication and dosing to me. They made it very easy to have the medication delivered to me (or pick it up, also an option).”

“Chris went above and beyond to help my mom while she was visiting from out of town. She had run out of her medications and didn’t have any refills left, and he stepped in without hesitation. Even though he was the only one working and clearly very busy, he took the time to personally call her doctor and make sure she got what she needed.
He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. It’s rare to see that level of dedication and compassion these days. We’re so grateful for his help—he truly made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend!”
“These days, you truly never know what someone is going through or how much a small act of kindness can mean during a stressful moment. Last night, my son was in a scooter crash luckily he had on a helmet, and while he was being examined, they also discovered he had a sinus infection. This morning, Mac at Wegmans Pharmacy opened early to get his antibiotics ready for us because he saw me sitting there waiting before they officially opened at 8:30.

“Had a fantastic experience installing 4 tires in my tesla. They went above and beyond with the service. I even forgot my tesla key card and they could have easily sent me back asking me to bring it. “Pharmacists and techs deal with so much every day, and I truly believe the team at Walgreens does an outstanding job. Not only have I consistently seen their patience and professionalism, but I’ve personally experienced how helpful and proactive they are.
When I had an expensive prescription come through, they didn’t just fill it and wait for me to show up... they actually called me after running it through my insurance to let me know what the cost would be. I’m so glad they did. When I told them I couldn’t pay that amount, they took the time to explain what I could ask my doctor to adjust so it could be reprocessed in a way that wouldn’t leave me overcharged. They’ve also run multiple available discount codes on several occasions to help bring down the cost of my medications. I use GOODRX and others. (Fun fact: a lot of pharmacies aren't allowed to just GIVE you the codes and you are supposed to ask them to do that. A lot of regular people dont know that.) That extra effort and willingness to problem-solve has meant a lot to me.
They are, hands down, the fastest refillers around. My prescriptions are consistently ready quickly, and I’ve even received calls from them about issues or questions related to my more complicated (“weird”) medications to make sure everything was correct. That level of attentiveness and communication really stands out. Not to mention, I did have 2 meds on file with one still having a remaining refill... While I didnt intend to fill it at the time, they did ask if I was aware of the risk of taking the new med and the other med on my profile. These techs are sometimes the last line of defense to save someones life and people don't even appreciate it!!!
Additionally, as long as it wasn’t a controlled substance, I’ve been able to send someone else to pick up my prescriptions without any issues, which I’ve really appreciated. I know that's standard but they've never even given us issues.
They’ve been incredibly helpful and so amazing. I truly appreciate them and am so glad they’re my pharmacy.
If you've had a bad experience, maybe ask yourself if the pharmacy might not be the problem....”
