“I like exploring Treasure Hound to see what I can find: sometimes for something I knew I needed, sometimes finding something I didn't know I needed until I saw it. Sometimes a few items pricing can be high (retail price compared to Homegoods or TJMaxx), but otherwise a great variety of items presented in a classy way and benefiting a great cause.”
“I love volunteering at Bargain Loft b/c the proceeds go to helping those in need in the Herndon/Reston community. The store is nice and cozy. I find practical stuff and rare gifts for ppl in my life. I highly recommend this thrift store for buying gifts. There is a lot of housewares, kid section, garden section, craft section, clothes, shoes, and other items. Come check out the Bargain Loft or volunteer. 😄”

“Great store - new treasures every time you shop. I’ve gotten some really nice fabric and craft items, the prices and quality of kids clothes can’t be beat. I love the housewares and linen section. Men’s and women’s clothes have a large selection. The volunteers are all super friendly. Highly recommend you stop in next time you’re thrifting in Leesburg.”
“Clothing selection is really well curated at this good sized, but not overwhelmingly large shop. Prices are set for some bargains, but since many items are high quality, don’t expect super low prices on the good stuff. The back half of the store has men’s and kid’s clothing as well as home decor, games, puzzles, artwork and books. Fun place to browse through and return to often to scoop up the finds before someone else gets them. Friendly helpful staff with clean dressing rooms.”

“I usually find some great things at low prices. It can be hit or miss based on what has been recently donated. The staff is pleasant and the store is well organized. I’ve purchased furniture, framed art, glassware, toys, holiday decor, and clothing. The money goes towards a good cause so I like shopping here when I’m in the area. Open Wednesday - Saturday and once a month on Tuesday.”

“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the service team and Joey in particular! I stopped in early this morning when I realized that one of the screws for my rear tag holder was missing. When I arrived, I was greeted right away with a friendly smile and they were able to take care of finding the appropriate hardware quickly and efficiently- and they installed it too (which was unexpected but really appreciated) Although I shouldn’t need any repairs for a while, I’ll make a point to stop here first. In my experience, the quality of work can be observed in the small interactions you have with someone, and if my experience today was any indication of the usual customer interactions, then I know I’ll be in good hands if I ever need additional work done. Thanks so much for helping me get back on the road!”
“I’ve been donating and shopping at this store for the last 5 years. I typically look for plant pots, wine glasses, frames, unique art, candles, and decor pieces and seasonal decor. I find that it’s priced lower than gw and unique stores that mark up brand items and have increased prices a lot. I’ve always had positive interactions with the staff and I enjoy going there. Sometimes I walk out empty handed, sometimes I find some cool treasures. I can’t speak about clothing prices. For me it’s relaxing to browse the store after a day in the office every once in a while. Everything is well organized, they wrap the purchases with care and get you checked out efficiently. I will continue to support this store and hope they will continue to open their doors to everyone in the community.”

“I love this store, it has a combination of really unique items and everyday useful items for extremely good prices. My only complaint (which I will remove from this review if it changes) is that staff could be better at letting the customer handle and package their items at checkout because the way the staff do it sometimes can cause minimal damage.”

“I had such a smooth and positive experience at Plato’s Closet (Dulles)! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The selling process was faster than I expected, and I felt like the offer I received was fair.
