I've worked with this branch since 2018. Amy has helped me with business and personal banking. Top notch, first class, patient and caring service.

The Bank desk clerks or whoever they are when you come in the front of the bank, can be outright rude n disrespectful....I won't call on them for assistance ever again!!!

I had my credit card fraudulently charged 520 dollars in late October. The bank said it would take up to 2 billing cycles to resolve. It is now in the 3rd billing cycle and nothing has been done. The bank keeps adding interest charges and requesting payments on the account. I have called 5 times and visited the branch bank and I am told there has been no updates and that there is noone to talk to directly about the status of this fraudulent charge. This is the worst customer service that I have recieved from any bank.

The bank manager doesn't understand basic banking practices, long wait to use the teller, drive through is slow as molasses! I really need to find a new bank....

Yes, I've had some trouble reaching help via phoning a branch, but I can honestly say that I personally have been treated with respect and great customer service. There are so many subjects discussed in these poor reviews that tellers, branch managers, and even the IT folks for the online app have absolutely no control over. For instance, all of the new scam/thievery protection measures put in place for your banking safety, and fewer branches because of online availability that many customers prefer. Managers have to deal with Corp decisions about staffing by branch and how to manage the teller line when an employer calls in sick right before opening time. We're so used to the fast-food recipe of immediate gratification that we sometimes expect the same instant service that these branch folks simply can't provide. Give them a break, and be patient. We all have bad days, and a smile and a kind word is sometimes all it takes to make someone's day a little better.

Well…there is a reason this branch gets 1.5 stars. I made an appointment with Matt the manager. I arrived promptly at the time of the appt. I told them I was there. They kept taking walk ins that were there before me. Again, I made an appointment and was assured I’d be seen. I took the day off and made appointments to settle my mothers financial items due to her death. Turns out Matt was not even there and the staff just kept blaming him and refused to see me. What’s the point of making appointments if they treat you like a walk in. Not only that but not friendly or any customer service. Pathetic…

Been here 3 separate times to withdraw a few thousand for a remodel. They never have enough hundreds, not even for 2k. Asked to use the bathroom and was told "we don't have a public restroom, only one is in a secured area which you can't use" mediocre treatment to the "public" that provides your business

my son is sitting in the waiting area as i am typing this. I am at work. I get a text saying. Mom: there was one guy in front of me, when a teller went to call him to help him. He said no he will wait for Rose. The gentleman said you can go ahead and help him (my son) She said no and refused to help him who works hard to protect our country with the Army/National Guard. He is still waiting in the waiting area to be helped. I called the bank asked for management it went straight to voicemail. Now, i am a long time customer with Truist/BBT in Ashland. This was disturbing to me since my son is a minority. Lets see how long it takes for him to get assistance.

I used SunTrust and BB&T for many years when it became Truist bank it's the worst banking experience that I've ever had in my 50 years of dealing with banks. Their internet banking fails all aspects of customer service just look at the reviews that they already have do not use this Bank don't trust them

Went to the bb&t branch in Ashland to cash checks. Spent 45 minutes in line. Found only 1 employee working both lanes and they both stayed 6 to 8 vehicles long. Due to the inside being closed you would think they would have 2 tellers providing service. I’m sure the 1 teller took verbal abuse from several customers.

My wife and I have been long time BB&T customers, have had 2 mortgages and hold hundreds of thousands of dollars with them. We tried to go to this location to do a wire transfer and the staff treated us terribly and said we'd have to wait an hour since we didn't have an "appointment". Nobody else was there, except in the drive through. Exceptions to the rules can and should be made, I think the staff just likes to sit around and do nothing. Avoid this branch!

I was trying to open a new account due to moving to the area. I went in 3 times in hoping to open my account there. The first time I was told to get mail to verify my address. Which I did, but since I was moving soon they wanted me to get new mail for the address I was moving to. The second time I went I was told that I would need to get a rent bill or utility bill for my apartment. When I told them that I was in the apartment due to a program they said just a letter from the program would be fine. The third time I came they said that they wouldn’t be able to get to it till Monday, since I came on Saturday morning which was fine, but since then I tried to call them, the same person would answer and say that they were busy but they would do it. I had called at least 7 times in hope of getting my account open, but every time someone would say that they were working on it. The last time I called they told me that I would have to go in and show my I.D. and pieces of mail which I have already done in the first two visits. When I told them that I already did that they said that I could leave a voicemail. This was a horrible experience and I will be finding a new bank that has time for people who need to open an account.

Lots of issues over the last two months due to errors on behalf of bank employees but new branch manager has vowed to fix the problems there. Let's hope she is able to do so!
