“I brought in a bunch of games to have checked out and sold. The process was very simple, but I called/emailed first of course. This place has such a nice atmosphere! Haha, it made me want to keep the games I sold! I’m a little old person now… and well, I just don’t have the time to game like I used to. “A shoutout for the curbside service. We were going to a birthday party, but my kid fell asleep in the car. I called the store. They helped pick the toy, gift wrapped it, and brought it to my car. All done within 10 minutes.We also visit frequently when my kid is awake to pick up birthday presents. The store has great toy selections covering a wide age range.”

“Took my granddaughter here to celebrate her birthday. This is a large store and overwhelming at first. There are 2 levels. Several play areas. And lots of dolls! The restaurant and salon areas looked cool, but we're closed when we were there. We will definitely go back to experience those. Employees were friendly and helpful, but gave us plenty of space to enjoy the experience.”

“This charming children's shop carries high quality children's clothing for special occasions and everyday, with the best selection of children's shoes in the city of Alexandria (Hunter, boys leather loafers, Native, See Kai Run, saddle shoes, Keen). It is a classic store but also has new trends. They are one of my go-tos for holiday pjs, classic items like wool or rain coats and well-made, long lasting shoes like rainboots and saddle shoes. Now that my boys are older, it is a good place for sacrament outfits for first communion or cotillion clothes. I love their selection of unique gifts and it is one of my boys' favorites to pick up a Jelly Cat stuffed animal, Melissa and Dog classic wooden toys or cute hairbows and jewelry. At the holidays, they are my go-to for Thymes fir candles and monogrammed items. They monogrammed my boys' heirloom baptism gown with their names and baptism dates through the in-house Del Ray monograms and expanded to Del Ray Balloons. They used to have a terrific consignment corner and their sales are the best, where I stock up on the next size up. The owners Paula and Linda know long-time customers by name and have great customer service and know host to hustle, surviving the pandemic with innovation and grit.”
“Lil Waffle said "if they just stayed put at the register..." As if they don't have two floors of toys to stock and clean up after your poorly supervised children. You just want this small business with 4 rooms, 2 floors, and 3 exits to sit at the register and wait on you? Then when you leave, they can just spend the whole night doing everything else required to run a business. Even Walmart cannot stand by their 45 registers waiting for you, Walmart makes you check out yourself and then audits your work ethic on the way out. Idiot.”
