“I am not a regular patron of this particular post office, but the times that I have been here, the service was quick and parking is ample. Aside from when this one is closed an hour for lunch, this is a far better choice than standing in line for 15 minutes at the Haymarket post office.”

“I drove out of my way to come to this PO because of all of the great reviews and I wasn’t disappointed!! The woman working the desk (maybe Cathy?) was wonderfully helpful and nice. A great experience!”

“This Vint Hill post office, and the one at Broad Run, are my two favorites, even though they are not the closest to where I live. Both are small and underutilized, but service is always fast and friendly. They do not offer all of the services that the larger branches do, but for what I need, they are perfect. Please keep in mind that these small facilities only have one or two employees, so they may close an hour for lunch. Always check their hours before going around lunch time so you wont waste a trip.”

“The post office in The Plains is anything but plain! What a charming building! The interior is so cool and vintage! The postal workers there were super friendly and informative! One of the post masters said he thought it was built in the 1930's, but I'll do some more research and give an update.I loved the brass mail boxes and the antique signage. Although it was a tad in disarray, with supplies hither and thither, I still say a 5***** for its unique building and old world charm! If you haven't been to the sleepy small town of The Plains, it's adorable and tiny but full of personality!Hours are 10:00-1:00/2:00-5:00 M-F, 10:00-12:00 Sat.”

“Was here several times during the holiday and found Sapinderjit to be very friendly, upbeat and helfpul. She's very nice to all customers, and always thanks everyone for their patience (today she was the only one out at the counter for the 15 mins. I was there). Looked at her name badge knowing I was going to write this review. Much appreciate her kindness, helpfulness and professionalism!”

“We had a pleasant experience today because of staff members at counter A and D. Not sure if it is ok to post their names. Our one year old child was more than a handful but both staff members were friendly about it. The facility seems to be a historic building and clean.”

“I have lived in this area for 16 years. Everytime I come to the post office staff is very friendly with the smile on their faces, I never experienced anyone to be rood. Yes, sometimes you have to wait in the long line but they always call a second person whenever line is back up if they have any one available. Always helpful, whenever I have a question about what is the best way to mail letters or packages anywhere in USA or World wide. Our Mail lady is the best, she always has a smile on her face, leaves a treat for my dog even if he is not outside. He gets so excited when he his her mail truck pulling in. People sometimes make mistakes when load of the their work is too big and not enough of employees available. Have you seen a sign "hiring"? Stop complaining people! I would like to see how would you do the work being in their shoes.”

“What a team of wonderful people. My experience involves working with the passport team on 10/17 at 11:30am. The two ladies (Sapna?), and another lady whose name I didn’t catch - were incredibly nice and supportive throughout the process. I would highly recommend using their services. Thank you for being so professional and supportive.”

“Friendlier people you could not meet - on both sides of the counter. Everyone wearing masks and trying to maintain 6 feet of separation. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - and accommodating! You can't ask for better. Almost like everyone cares about each other. It's a refreshing change from the busy city post office. Oh, I don't want to forget to mention plenty of free parking and two convenient entrance points to the parking lot. They close at noon on Saturdays though, so get there early.”
