I went into this flower shop and I saw a very pretty plant and was told it was the only one they had left. Decided to buy it and send it to my daughter and son in law on their wedding anniversary. They received it on Monday, September 28 and they placed it on their dinning room table and it looks great. Thanks for a great job.”

Cashier staff can be a bit rude and prickly, but the garden center quality makes up for it!”

“Love this garden center! It's small enough to be comfortable and not overwhelming, but big enough to have everything I need. They have ample parking, chickens running around, and little red wagons to load with what you need. What's not to like? ? The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. And I really like their little grocery store, they have great local fruits and veggies and stuff like local honey and preserves and stuff. Highly recommend! I've been coming here for over a decade.”

“Lake Ridge Nursery has officially made lifetime customers out of us, and it’s all thanks to the brilliant, vibrant energy of Riley! My husband, sister, nephew, and I walked in completely clueless about indoor plants, but Riley greeted us so warmly that we instantly felt right at home.

The four of us were practically tag-teaming her—bombarding her with an endless firing squad of questions all at once—and Riley handled it with absolute grace, endless patience, and the warmest smile. She didn't just sell us plants; she gave us a masterclass! She walked us through lighting preferences, expert repotting techniques, specific soil blends, and even picked out moss totems so our climbers could latch on and scale vertically. Thanks to her tailored guidance, we happily picked out four stunning plants (including a fragrant Jasmine and a gorgeous Hibiscus) worth a few hundred dollars.

Her incredible service didn't stop at the counter, either. When we asked about logistics, Riley seamlessly arranged home delivery on the spot, took all our information, and then personally called us after we got home to give us an update on when our plants would arrive.

The only time she seemed even remotely bashful was when we insisted on getting her managers' names so we could put in a proper good word for her. So to Cassie and Tori: whatever you are doing, keep doing it! Having such a passionate, attentive, and customer-first teammate speaks volumes about your leadership and the amazing culture you've built at Lake Ridge. “Several years ago we re-landscaped our yard. It was time! We called Silverbrook Nursery and the owner, Buzz, came right over and we talked about a new and colorful look to brighten up our yard. He came back with a very thoughtful plan to replace all of our plants and add lots of color and interest to our planting with slow growing things that bloom at different stages, but not much maintenance. We also added a flagstone walk from the front to the back as well as a rock drainage bed around the house that works amazingly well. It turned out beautifully! We love all the nice and thoughtful details and we get lots of compliments on how nice our yard looks. We also call Buzz a couple times each year to come for mulching, trimming, aerating and seeding or spruce-ups as needed. He has always been very responsive and drops by whenever we call and his workers are all very knowledgeable and courteous. It’s such a pleasure working with Silverbrook Nursery.”

Not sure if they are under new management but a gentleman named Jacob demonstrated incredible customer service while demonstrating that he genuinely cared about the quality of work that this shop was putting out. “I had to pick up a couple of new strands of Christmas lights cause good luck finding the bulb that doesn't work lol!Was happy to see they still actually had a large selection instead of being sold out like in recent years.Got two packages of lights, a new pot for my ever-growing, orchid, and a new cute little succulent. Literally, every employee I passed, said hello to me, had a big smile on the face and it was genuine and warm and welcoming. It was a really good vibe. Steven was my cashier and he was amazing! So friendly, helpful, and he also had a big warm smile on his face!”

“I am leaving this review specifically about Cedrick in Appliances at Merrifield store. He is GREAT - professional, courteous, informed, efficient and diligent. His prep of the order resulted in a price that was even less than I expected to pay! I could not have asked for better service in the purchase of my fridge. He is an asset to the store and should be commended. Go see Cedrick if you want a good experience when purchasing your next appliance.”

“Unfortunately I would give this location a negative 1 star due to the fact they could not match the mulch that was on sale 5 for 10 (Virgo $2 a bag). I had two employees and a manger in customer said they could match that, for the brand they have now (Scott). But when I went to cashier to get the bags, cashier said I can’t do that, ask for a manger and this other manger that came said I can’t do. I live very close by and now I have drive out of my way to another store location that farther! They lie about there deals and are sneaky about sale prices with hiding them. So corporate will hear this manager that said we can’t do, picket location all store obey by it!

I had a great experience with two employees name Raphael and Joe (will correct the name if I’m wrong) for helping me get a mechanic tool box, they were both very patient and took the time to get things rights, I respect Raphael going out of his way to get the box I want and help me with the better price. Joe didn’t leave me hanging after I ask for help for my purchase, Joe helped bring the mechanic tool box out to my truck and help me lift it, thank you both!”

“I had to write this review because of one employee who truly made my day at the Home Depot in Woodbridge — Isaiah.

From the moment I ran into him, his positive energy and genuine smile stood out. He wasn’t just going through the motions like some employees tend to do — he was actively engaged, attentive, and clearly cared about helping customers find what they needed. What impressed me most is that he helped me not once, but twice during my visit, and both times he was just as friendly, patient, and helpful as the first.

It’s rare to come across someone in retail who brings this level of enthusiasm and genuine care to their job. Isaiah went above and beyond, and it completely turned my paint shopping trip into a positive experience. Home Depot is lucky to have an employee like him representing the store.

If you’re shopping at this location, I hope you get the chance to interact with Isaiah — he’s a great example of what excellent customer service should look like.”

“This review is essentially about Home Depot's access to the Bagster service.I had hundreds of pounds of old roofing that needed removal. You need a place to put the bag that they can pick up without interfering with overheads, like wires and space, like parking.It cost me about $250! And I could have loaded even more, but I didn't have time.They don't take old appliances etc. In under 10 minutes, they were done and gone.It's thebagster.com.”

“I visited here to rent a larger tool that's not available at other, closer, Home Depots and Ryan went above and beyond to help make sure I had the best experience possible. He recommended considering a box truck with a built in, less steep ramp to take the 350+ lb tool rather than the pickup and detachable ramp with a much steeper incline that I had originally reserved. When he showed me the difference he was absolutely right and it made things so much easier on me when loading and unloading. Then he showed me how to secure it in the truck, educated me on how it worked, and got me on my way while making sure I had everything I needed. All while assisting his coworkers and a computer down. When I returned the machine and truck later the employees were surprised I'd been able to handle it so easily and I put that down to Ryan preparing me when he so easily could have just waved me on my way. I would absolutely rent from here again, especially with Ryan at the desk.”

“I visited three different stores since Sunday and the customer service was nonexistent. I finally decided to try one more store and when I tell you I hit the jackpot with customer service, I'm not exaggerating. I have a hard time making decisions. I met Mark in flooring and he showed me the tile section. I needed tiles for my bathroom floor, wall, and backsplash. He walked me through the pros and cons, made recommendations, and helped me spend $1200. I was so relieved to have professional help. He was very knowledgeable about the products and professional. This man went above and beyond to assist to the very end. He loaded my car and ensured I had all the additional items I needed. I have never felt this happy about shopping ever! If you need tile, want a nice selection, and desire exceptional customer service, ask for Mark in flooring!!”

“So so wish I could award half stars! I think this location deserves 3.5 stars.I like that the store advertises the mask mandate and provides hand sanitizer for customers. However, no one really social distances here. Unfortunately that includes employees who are walking close to you with their mask pulled down. I then checked online at Home Depot. They promised delivery in Three days! It was delivered, installed, the BestBuy broken fridge moved to my garage awaiting return. They took great care in not bumping walls and doors. The two men who delivered and installed did a fantastic job and were courteous and professional. I highly recommend them. What this experience taught me is that Home Depot knows and stocks appliances and Best Buy is just playing at it.”
