Tony, the owner explained a critter had gotten into my hood and chewed some wires and only charged me a couple hundred dollars for the repairs. “This is the best repair shop. I cant say enough Zack and AJ. They went over and above to get our car fixed. We broke down 8 hours from home with power steering trouble. They took my car right in and had to get a part that was 2 hours away. They gave us a loaner and told us to go out for a few hours. On our way back I was informed they received the wrong part and they couldn't locate one anywhere. I was beside myself. We had 3 hours to our destination and I had no car. Zack told us to rent a car and finish our trip and let them worry the car. He even got us an Uber to go get a rental. Dont know how they did it but they got the part. We drove back to the shop and in a short time we were on the road home. Thank you AJ and Zack for everything you did for us.”

“Rockstar service, this is my new go-to shop. My window motor/switch had been acting funny, so I’d already planned to replace both, bust sure enough, it went kaput the day before a big rainstorm while the window was down 4”. Having just moved to the area, I wasn’t familiar with any of the auto shops so I picked the nearest one. I came in about 30 min before close so they had every right to turn me away, but instead they were willing to fix it for me and charge a very fair price (no markup for last minute / emergency service). “The lead mechanic here is great! Very knowledgeable and honest with what you need to get done. My check engine light was on and instead of just telling me to replace my EVAP cartridge ($500+ repair) he told me to get a new gas cap first see if that fix the problem. A $10 gas cap fixed my problem!”
“I have been using Dan's Merrifield Sunoco to work on my three cars for many years now. I used to do more mechanical work on my own but I am older now and cars are more complicated. The best thing about this place is that they are super competent. I know enough about cars to tell if their diagnoses and repairs are accurate. They always correct the problem. They will report other potential problems but no upsell pressure or attempts to frighten you into marginal repairs.”

“I want to say thank you to Scott and the Capital Car Care team. My family has been a long time customer and always received excellent service that was fair and honest. Yesterday (9/3/24) my 2006 Scion Xb driver's side rocker panel plastic cover started to popoff and under it you could see rust, a hole. I went to Capital for advise on a body shop and after a quick talk with Scott regarding the plan for how much longer I planned to keep the Scion, a few more years, and its worth, a thousand or two tops, Scott came up with a very simple solution. He found areas of good metal/no rust and drilled a screw to hold the plastic panel in place and the car is now looking good. All his expertise, time, and effort were for "no charge" I cannot thank him enough. He has confirmed why I'll be a customer for life.”

I told him I wasn't sure if it was my starter but I believed so, he told me to drop it off in the morning. “Just want to thank KC Automotive for helping me last week. I had been to another gas station but the air pump malfunctioned. I went to KC Automotive looking for an air pump. I didn't see a public air pump but the mechanic asked me if I needed air in my tires. I said yes and he told me to pull up to the garage bay and he checked all of my tires for me and put air in them. I was grateful and will keep KC in mind when I need automotive service.”
