“I was thrilled to find out that Elevation Church was nearby when I moved there. I am somebody that far been following them, especially their music. The messages are crystal clear to me. I didn't look too far into what they represent and never heard messages from their pastor until recent times. I just knew that I loved their music and what they said! What I didn't really expect was that it is a southern Baptist Christian Church. I prefer non-denominational Christian churches so the pastor's message came off a little too excited (sound ) for me. No matter what, that is an outstanding environment! This is just a place full with true worshipers. They are so kind and loving. It's a spiritually generous atmosphere. It was wonderful to stay after service to have a conversation with a few of them. I've been traveling a lot and all of my belongings are not moved to Virginia. I miss having a Bible but use my YouVersion Bible app. When they asked if there was anything that I needed, I answered would I able to have a Bible. You get to see this beautiful orange Bible that they gave to me. It is well put together and I'm very excited for it. We prayed before I left and I do intend to go back. A little problem is that I wish that they had more community/groups for women. I am a lady that does not have children and this particular location seems to hyper focus on women's groups that appear to have all children services associated with them. Mostly mom type groups. If you are a mom looking for community, I am sure that this would fit you well.Overall, I was very happy with my experience. I just was a little overwhelmed with the delivery of the sermon because I am not Southern Baptist. I tend to lean a little bit more conservative, I like quiet and peaceful yet passionate delivered. This pastor is in a class of his own. He's knowledge and has a great message, just not for me. I love passion but this was very intense for me because I can't tolerate unexpected circumstances with behavior. Nonetheless, this is a total 5 ⭐ experience. The message was excellent and the people were extraordinary, just not my cup of tea. “Attended an ABSOLUTELY beautiful holiday music program at Cave Spring Baptist Church. The church was decorated tastefully with lots of beautiful greenery and displays. The handball chior began the program with familiar and festive holiday tunes skillfully played on gorgeous gold bells. A small orchestra accompanied the large choir, (violins, flutes, clairnet, french horn, bassoon, trumpet and grand piano) with a rhythm section complete with tympani with electric guitar and a pastor on acoustic guitar. The choir consisted of many many members, with different talented soloists who all presented holiday music both familiar and new. Audience sing alongs were special, as well as the children's choir! Overall, the presentation was balanced, providing variety with inspirational, joyful, and calming melodic tones. I never knew there were so many talented people in Cave Spring!”

“The whole worship team is extremely strong with lots of positive energy and spirit! The pastor's wife went outside to thank the members for coming, they have a splendid usher, I smiled from seeing members coming back and forth before and after the service, a member noticed us at the parking lot and invited us to come again, the front desk lady was so kind and gave us a welcome gift bag, there was a lot of people to appreciate here! I was even asked to be put onto the church's prayer list after I mentioned my upcoming surgery. Rebeka and Pete are awesome!I recommend this church for you and your relatives to go and visit if you are in town or on vacation.”

“2012 when I first came to Belmont it was a very traditional southern Baptist Church. Which I love! Through out the years I have seen Belmont transform into this beautiful multiethnic congregation full of love. I've seen the children's ministry flourishes with youngsters and babies. How they learn and worship God. I've seen the student ministry grow from 3 to over 30 plus. Our Youth is called Rooted and we have such a close family relationship with one another, I couldn't be prouder to serve on the leadership team. I've seen amazing people come and go from Belmont. We're a church that loves God and loves one another. We Worship as a family and we serve the community with some good southern hospitality. We have been blessed with such a beautiful building. If you know someone from Roanoke,Va there is a good chance they’ve heard of Belmont.Every one is welcomed from all walks of life and every generation.
