“Super friendly employee works here, which makes this my post office of choice.
However, beware of random hours: often closed in the mornings from 11?? until 11:30. This is in addition to the posted lunch hour. I've been trying to mail a package all week (3 days now) and still not been successful because the counter has been closed every time.”
“My experience with the Roanoke Post Office has always been excellent. Our Mail Carrier is prompt, and kind to our dogs (BONUS).
This past week, an important mailer went missing, and I reached out the team. They were communicative and polite. They found the misslabeled mailer and followed up to make sure it got to me. Thanks to you all! What you do is very demanding. Great job!!??”
“I’ve never had a poor experience here, however, I HAVE seen multiple customers mouth off to the associates when all they’ve done is remain professional and do their jobs. The associates aren’t there to package your items for you, that is your responsibility. If you treat them with kindness and patience, you will receive that treatment in return. I appreciate everything the USPS team does for the community and the helpfulness I’ve received!”

“I see a lot of horrible reviews but I’ve had never had but good experiences from this post office. Especially whoever the gentleman is that delivers our mail I wish I knew his name, he’s always very nice (he delivers a lot of packages to us lol) yeah we’ve had a couple times where things were marked as “couldn’t be delivered” but we didn’t actually get it till the next day.. but that usually only happens when it’s something that is suppose to be delivered on a Sunday and has only have like 2 or 3 times.. and I doubt it was our typical mail guy it was probably whoever was doing Sunday deliveries. I don’t know. It’s a small post office and very little staff. But not a bad thing I have to say about them.”
“Susan was very helpful and kind. She helped me select a box and then made suggestions on mailing. She taped up the box for me as I was having difficulties doing so. She went beyond the call of duty! So considerate, very professional. I am truly grateful.”

“Always the best experience here. The gentleman that works here is kind and friendly but also all business when busy, which I think a few people called rude. But in reality he is trying to move things quickly and efficiently so people don't feel like they had to wait to long. Plus I've just seen some of the rudest customers that come in totally unprepared and get mad if he is a little short while the line has to wait because they are inconsiderate.”
“Mr. Dave is so helpful! He helped me to renew my P.O. Box during an urgent situation that I had. It's good people like him and his team at that branch are so friendly and efficient in getting their job done and our postal needs met. I can't thank them all enough.”
“I just did a change of address today and the afraican American lady working front she was around 60. Pretty light skinned. I didn't catch her name but it was today she worked around 10am anyways it was so refreshing having a sweet social able kind lady like her help me out with a smile on her face. She's definitely a bonus and a great addition to the postal service company. She knows how to assist and does it in a very welcoming kind professional way..I only wish id gotten her name.”
