“Super friendly employee works here, which makes this my post office of choice.
However, beware of random hours: often closed in the mornings from 11?? until 11:30. This is in addition to the posted lunch hour. I've been trying to mail a package all week (3 days now) and still not been successful because the counter has been closed every time.”
“My experience with the Roanoke Post Office has always been excellent. Our Mail Carrier is prompt, and kind to our dogs (BONUS).
This past week, an important mailer went missing, and I reached out the team. They were communicative and polite. They found the misslabeled mailer and followed up to make sure it got to me. Thanks to you all! What you do is very demanding. Great job!!??”

“My Fiance uses this office fairly often to ship out items for his side business and is generally pleased with their service. I went along with him today after an appointment and fainted in the P.O. box area from my low blood sugar. The staff were INCREDIBLY kind and helpful. I was given a chair and a snack cake to help me stabilize. I am SO GREATFUL for them being understanding and caring. Y'all rule ❤️”
“Nice little post office right beside Grandin Village that can handle most things you need like address changes, postal accounts, purchase stamps and shipping or receiving along with materials also has a decent sized post office box area it is clean and nice looking but a little dated and older fixtures and furniture but still well kept and a nice, charming, cozy, little post office I enjoy doing all my postal business here.”

“I see a lot of horrible reviews but I’ve had never had but good experiences from this post office. Especially whoever the gentleman is that delivers our mail I wish I knew his name, he’s always very nice (he delivers a lot of packages to us lol) yeah we’ve had a couple times where things were marked as “couldn’t be delivered” but we didn’t actually get it till the next day.. but that usually only happens when it’s something that is suppose to be delivered on a Sunday and has only have like 2 or 3 times.. and I doubt it was our typical mail guy it was probably whoever was doing Sunday deliveries. I don’t know. It’s a small post office and very little staff. But not a bad thing I have to say about them.”
“I didn't catch name of the lady who helped me today, but, when I arrived the line was almost out the door. The lady behind the desk obviously had some mobility problems, yet as soon as she could start helping people in line she did. With extraordinary speed, precision, and professionalism she cleared the line. Then she got to me. I had 40 individual envelopes to be processed. She managed it in record time and was able to help other customers while doing so! This will be my go to post office from now on.”
“We were so impressed a few days ago when one of the employees helped us locate a package that was delivered to the wrong house. She personally found the package and brought it to our house, shortly after we called to ask about it. Great customer service! Sorry we didn’t get her name but thanks much!”

“This is the post office at the Cave Spring area. It's a very clean building. I came in to get some money orders and stamps to send off a few bills. I was short on money. What an embarrasing position to be in. The clerk was very patient with me. I was like .60 cent short and going to cancel my order. Thanks to the guy behind me that gave me a dollar to complete my transaction.”
