“Love this place! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good thrifting experience. There are a ton of new or barely used items. It's so organized, the prices make sense, and the store smells, looks, and feels very clean- which I can't say for every thrift store. The staff is great and so helpful, shoutout to Elda! I try to stop in weekly to check out the stuff. I always leave with something :)”
“Wonderful organization to donate to. It helps save the lives of dogs and cats. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and helpful. The store is very organized and there is a nice selection of things. Would highly recommend.”
“Very nice little store; make sure to check out the upstairs too. The staff are very friendly, and you really can't beat their prices! When it comes to thrifting & secondhand stores, this place is the #1 hidden gem of Herndon. I thrift a lot and this is definitely one of my favorites now, after just one visit.
Also, the store supports a nice charity, which is definitely a plus! If you live in Herndon and have things you want to donate, I would suggest donating here.”
“The sales clerks were extremely helpful and accommodating. I needed to measure a frame that I was interested in and they loaned one on the spot. Definitely will be back soon!”
“Price's are low and there are often discounts. Not the largest store/selection, but it's not overwhelming either, and they get some good stuff. Dropping off donations is also easy and staff have always been friendly.”
“Amazing place for a great price! The owner is super sweet and will go up and beyond on helping you find what you need. Super clean and well organize! Love coming here !!!”
“I recommend this to everyone out there! The employees are the sweetest! I wanted to buy a white desk for my daughter to study, and he offered it for $10 dollars! He helped me take it to the front desk to pay and the cashier was so sweet! They even insisted to put in the trunk of my car! I would definitely go back!”
“This store sells donated furniture, building materials, etc. donated by people. The proceeds from the sale go to Habitat for Humanity.
The store carries a huge variety of things. They are sold on as is basis so the buyer needs to inspect what they are buying.
Items are stored in somewhat haphazard manner but the staff will direct you if you are looking for anything specific. The staff mainly consists of employees and volunteers. They are all very helpful. The store is busy with items turning over very quickly. If you see something that meets your needs, you can reserve it by making a payment. You can pick it up soon thereafter with your own moving arrangement.
It is possible to find really deep discounts on sometimes gently used items but one has to visit often and know what they need.”
“I just was there shopping had a fantastic experience.Jackie was awesome in helping me finding the things I was looking for she also had great customer service skills ! I also have a shoe addiction the shoes were set up according to sizes !! They have some of everything!”
“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the service team and Joey in particular! I stopped in early this morning when I realized that one of the screws for my rear tag holder was missing. When I arrived, I was greeted right away with a friendly smile and they were able to take care of finding the appropriate hardware quickly and efficiently- and they installed it too (which was unexpected but really appreciated) Although I shouldn’t need any repairs for a while, I’ll make a point to stop here first. In my experience, the quality of work can be observed in the small interactions you have with someone, and if my experience today was any indication of the usual customer interactions, then I know I’ll be in good hands if I ever need additional work done. Thanks so much for helping me get back on the road!”
“I have been shopping at the Chantilly Restore for many years and have purchased so many amazing items at a deep discount. Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams dining room chairs, Hooker China cabinets, new Miele gas dryer, leather sofa, end tables, beautiful outdoor table and chairs, kitchen cabinets, etc etc. Benji and James are wonderful managers who always make me feel welcome and respected. The pricing is always fair. Grateful for this store and happy to support a great cause.”
“I love second chance! The prices are actually thrift store pricing, they have generous sales, and it all goes back to the animals. Huge selection of very nice dog supplies as well. Definitely check them out!”
“Don’t be overwhelmed when you walk in! Keep browsing and you will find MANY treasures! And at a great price. Unlike other discount stores, prices here can be negotiated!! Everyone was so kind and helpful.”
“This Salvation Army Store is the Best. Staff always so helpful. And manger is running the store well. Thank you!!! Cashier has become my favorite person Amany ?”
“One of the only good things about Herndon is this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the deals are fair, this place is not one of those “hit-or-miss” areas. It’s mainly a hit.”
“This place has nonstop gems at reasonable prices for thrift lovers like me. Look out for the color of the week on items for 50% off. Briana M. is AMAZINGGG! ?”

“This place is awesome. The staff at dropoff are extremely friendly and will meet you outside regardless of weather. It has an easy pull up area which is covered and they help you unload.
When my son recently left his expensive jacket in one of the bags I dropped off, the staff went through a lot of bins within the hour and found it, and returned it to me. I was shocked. It’s easier for them to just say that it was donated, etc but they were so kind about it. The manager, Genai (sp?) was lovely as well and offered to keep it in her office so I could take my time coming back to get it. What a wonderful crew!”

“I had a really good experience at Goodwill. The store was clean and organized, which made it easy to find what I needed. The staff were polite and helpful, and checkout was fast. Prices were very reasonable, and I found quality items in great condition. It feels good shopping somewhere that supports the community too. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Excellent customer service as everyone here is polite and friendly. Prices for both buying and selling are reasonable. The only drawback is the limited selection in small and extra-small sizes for shirts, pants, and jackets.”
“This place has a large variety of clothing, household items, kitchen gadgets, toys, shoes, sporting goods, etc. It's a great place for things that you don't what to spend a lot on. I've bought quality & brand name toasters, kitchen tools, garden tools, picture frames, & shoes, that were gently or barely used and lasted a long time. Sometimes you find items with original store price tags on.
They're pretty strict on no returns, so you can only exchange or get store credit. The most convenient thing is they accept your donated items right next door.”
“My review was deleted so I am re-posting. This location always has items in stock with many selections to choose from including clothing, housewares, books, accessories, and much more. I've come here multiple times to stock up on active wear and professional clothes for a good deal. Donation drop-offs are also easy and simple. This location does accept blankets for donations which is very convenient considering others often do not.”
