“I've been to a lot of bookstores and this one is my favorite! It is almost as if the store was curated for me and my wife. We could have spent all day in there and the next time we are in Charlottesville we will! I walked in and instantly noticed this book calling to me on the shelf. There were many others I would have liked to purchase as well! A fantastic store and we can't wait to come back!”

“In April 2024, I visited Blue Whale Books. The shop is well organized and has a great selection of quality used books. There is a nice selection of old maps and prints for sale too. I bought an antique 3 volume set of books and the lady who owns the bookstore shipped them for me. Her customer service was great, and these books arrived undamaged because they were packed so meticulously.”

Very creative!Staff in the store have always been friendly and helpful… they represent the University well. I love stopping in to see what’s new, even if I don’t buy anything.
