Central Battery Specialists has been serving Charlottesville since 1985, offering a wide range of batteries and related services. Originally located in the Old Monticello Dairy Building, the business moved in July 2018 to a new location on Harris Street with better parking, but continues to provide the same high-quality products and friendly, knowledgeable service that sets it apart. Customers appreciate the honest, straightforward advice and the professional approach of the staff, especially in situations like car battery replacements, which are done quickly and efficiently. The staff is known for being courteous, willing to go the extra mile, and providing fantastic prices, making it a trusted choice over chain stores. The shop has an old-time neighborhood feel combined with professionalism, offering genuine recommendations and expert insights. Additionally, Central Battery Specialists accepts various batteries for recycling, making drop-offs quick and easy. Overall, the business is highly recommended for its authentic service, good prices, and commitment to doing things the right way.
