Would not allow me to pay using tap on phone despite allowing it for a card. Made no sense. Gave no heads up prior to arrival. No signage either. Was unable to rent a vehicle.

I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for years, but will be finding another rental car company next time. We recently rented a car when flying into Virginia for a family wedding and found the car had not been washed. It was filthy. There was nobody at the exit to talk to, and we were on a tight time table, so we had to leave the airport before addressing the issue at the onset.
When we returned the car, the customer service rep asked how our experience was and we told her about the unwashed car. She was very nice, apologized, and said she would talk to the manager to see what the company could do to 'make things right.' I could see her talking to the manager who repeatedly was shaking her head no. When the customer service rep came back she said, 'Next time we hope you have a better experience.' When I asked what they would do to make things right, she said they would try to improve their car care in the future and looked forward to having us back. No offer to 'make things right' for us that day. We left and will not be back.
Offering even a small discount or some other type of compensation would have been the smarter play, Enterprise. The way to keep customers loyal is to put the customer first, not to 'make things right' by saying you will do better next time. For us, there won't be a next time.

Friendly, efficient and get me on the road in minimal time each visit. Only downfall is they are not open late if you get delayed. Had to use another service on one trip.

Great, friendly, and fast service! We loved our vehicle (Volvo SUV) and we got a 5% discount on the prepaid fuel option. Would definitely use Enterprise again!
