Giant Food is a neighborhood store focused on selection, quality, and value. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, noting they have become considerably more friendly recently, and specifically highlight the excellent service in the meat department. The store offers convenient services like curbside pickup and contactless delivery. While the store setup can feel off-putting, it carries unique items like a specific French yogurt. The selection of specialty items, such as gluten-free and dairy-free foods, is extensive though sometimes varies. The supermarket is generally clean with a good overall selection, though occasional issues with online order replacements are noted. Many customers express fondness for shopping there.
Staff here is very gracious. A young man at customer service, I think his name was Ethan? was very helpful

I love this store!!! Wish I'd known it was there sooner. Love the variety of items and all the fresh foods. Staff has always been pleasant. Do wish it were a bit cheaper, but aren't we all looking for deals these days?? Sales are great and lot of items other stores don't have.

Great pharmacy and grocery store. This store recently underwent renovations that really opened up the aisle of the store. Easier to navigate. The produce section is always stocked and of high quality. Cost is higher especially their meat section. One of the few places in Cville that consistently has skirt or flank steak.
