“You don’t have to join Costco or Sam’s club to find bargains. This place is amazing. But when “it’s gone, it’s gone” with “Aldi’s Finds”! Their dairy products are Cheap!! You can find Duck occasionally in the meat refrigerator. Cheeses, olives, wine, all the things you need to make a charcuterie board. At half then price if any other grocery store. You need to bring your own bags and have a quarter for the grocery cart(you will get it back.) silly people who think that they are above sho here have no idea how much they are missing and paying at other stores. It is always stocked and if not the person that works there has no problem finding it for you. No self checkout. And they don't mind opening another line if it gets congested . One of the associates saw me struggling with my hand basket and offered to get me a cart. All in all, good supermarket, clean bathrooms, good selection of GF foods from Schar, Simple Mills and many others.”

“Located at Main Street Market, this place is worth the trip. Wide selection of different salads, sandwiches, and soups. Plenty of to go options if you don't have time to wait. Also if you don't have time to wait, place your order early for takeout as it does get busy. Everything is fresh and delicious. Loved their spin on tomato soup and their French dip sandwich. Great customer service, when tables were filling up the man at the pick up counter was bringing tables in from outside so people had places to sit. There is a market selection of cheese and meats, local products, etc.. Highly recommend!!”

It is not only Indian Bazar that has to increases the price due to many factors including suppliers increasing the prices but producers and also increasing the prices. I understand you completely because at the end of the day customer gets the worst. Indian Bazar tries to do the best they can, but if you don't think you can get your price's worth, I suggest you not visiting the store anymore. You may not even know how hard it is to find the suppliers who would want to carry all the items that we do.You also may not know the existence of this store. IT was for community so our people can find the items they are used to. Present owner has been running the store for 13 years and only reason they even took the store was because previous owners were about to close it down due to health reason and Charlottesville would not have had any Indian Grocery Store at that time. Yes there are others now but they have not been here when no one was.I thank you for your business and hope you can come and talk about how hard it is to run small store in today's economy.”
