Lots of fun, kids played for hours and still didn’t want to leave. At least the adults can have fun too!

I have been coming here for years. First with my children, now with my grandson.This is a fun place for kids and adults alike!Today, the volunteer in the back room was amazing. He interacted with the children and worked hard to keep it tidy! Reed, you are doing a great job!

This was our first time here and my kids played here for hours. It's super nice and quaint. Love that they have an area to set your stuff down at too!
The Virginia Discovery Museum is Charlottesville's best hands-on discovery spot for families with newborns to children age 8. As a nonprofit children’s museum, VDM seeks to foster intellectual curiosity and development for all children of our community and welcomes more than 70,000 visitors each year. For more than 25 years, the Museum has provided enrichment opportunities in literacy, science, math, and the arts through interactive exhibits, exploratory and imaginative play environments, and educational programs.
