“I had to come on and rave about how awesome our Charlottesville Costco is - especially Simone from the Tire Center who saved me soooo much today!! I thought I had a screw in my tire and wasn't sure if they needed to be replaced (good ol AWD vehicles). While walking past the tire center, Simone asked if she could help me and I explained my problem. Without missing a beat she asked which vehicle was mine & went to see with her own eyes. (PS - I have absolutely just interrupted her workday flow and I'd never know it from the BEYOND accommodating way I was treated).
After inspection, she discovered it was an extremely lucky situation that required her only to remove the pin and there seemed to be no leak. BUT NO - SHE WAS NOT DONE BEING AMAZING - Simone went in to get soapy water and checked to make sure that no air was escaping and saved me 4 NEW TIRES. Y'all that is no small expense when I was just told I'd have to replace them all by another company!
Just had to come on here and say thank you to Simone - you absolutely made my day & your kindness was felt throughout the whole process. Thank you Simone, thank you Costco Tire Shop, thank you again to Simone - I am so glad to have such an amazing Costco in Charlottesville to count on. “Maybe this is weird, but I enjoy clothes shopping at Sam's. There's not many options, which I prefer. That aside, we can feed our family of 7 rather inexpensively on pizza and hotdogs (not something we do often for you dietary pearl clutchers ?). Normally, shopping with everyone isn't relaxing, but yesterday evening was, well, probably because they were exhausted after the 2.5 mile hike we took them on before coming.
They accidentally had an expired sale tag on some computer monitors that we wanted to purchase. It was a $60 difference, and they chose to honor the sale tags. Much appreciated!”

“Prices here are always lower than surrounding area - sometimes as much as 10 cents/gallon lower. It's pretty quick to get in and out, even if there's a line. It runs pretty smoothly. You can scan your membership card or scan the qr code on the app to begin. The attendant is helpful and friendly, even on 95° days when the 'feels like' temp is 101°!”
