CHKD Thrift Store in Chesapeake offers a wide variety of items, making it a fun place to browse. The store is well-stocked with clothing in the center and home decor in the back, and shelves are organized with ample space around items, including fragile ones. Visitors can find a diverse selection of vases, jewelry, CDs, vinyl records, lamps, chests, and clothing, offering many chances to discover unique treasures. The store is friendly, with staff that greet customers, although some may be more helpful than others. Prices can be somewhat high, especially for furniture, and there is a tendency to be "tape happy" on game boxes, with some items having handwritten prices instead of stickers. The store's cleanliness varies, and it can be quite hot and stuffy during visits. Customers are advised to be mindful of donation dumping outside the store. Overall, CHKD Thrift Store provides an interesting shopping experience with many items to explore, great deals on sale days, and a welcoming atmosphere for those seeking unique finds.
Wonderful place to shop and for a very good cause. They have a great selection and their prices are exceptionally low. Love it there! I recommend it highly!
