Decent place, but they do get too tape happy on the game boxes. And they need price stickers instead of writing on the boxes.

A fairly decent thrift store but it’s a bit wild how highly they price some items. There’s definitely some price checking on items that are literally donated to the place. In any case, it’s fun to look around and this location is always fairly well-stocked.

Generally the bottom of the thrifting list when my friends and I shop. I rarely ever find anything interesting here. Rather smelly and messy.

I was in this store at 220 N. Battlefield Blvd on Sunday, February 18. The store had at least 20 people in it shopping when one of the employees, I’m assuming the manager or shift supervisor had one of the employees make an announcement that they would be closing in 15 minutes. She then proceeded to rudely walk around and tell customers that they needed to buy items if they were going to because they were closing. She was extremely rude to many of the customers and was literally chasing them out of the store. I said out loud how rude she was being and she snapped at me and said I haven’t heard anything yet. She also jumped all over one of her employees in front of customers. Someone needs to go observe how she treats people!

Customer Service Is So Bad I Got A Blue Laptop For 20 or 30 Something Dollars And She tested it and she said it works but when I plugged it in it didn’t work. And they smoke crack and coke. Close down this place now.

I avoid this store like the plague. Thrifting is one of my favorite pastimes, I will go anywhere before I go here. Every employee is SO rude, so unpleasant, and takes 10 years to check out 1 person. Used to love this place, won’t be back till the handful of older ladies at the front are gone.

Such an unpleasant shopping experience. One worker was so loud saying how much she hates working there- that she was in her car on lunch break hating the fact she had to go back inside. It was uncomfortable to listen to. Then at check out the older African American woman didn’t even reply or look at me when I said “hello”. She took 20 minutes to ring me up and never said a word other than “give me that bag back- I’m not done”.Ummm ok.I spend literally hundreds in there every month, but will not be going back again.Im DONE with that store and the rude workers.

This place is awful. People used to drink on the job. Most of the money doesn't even go to the hospital.

This CHKD Thrift Store is located in the Battlefield Shopping Center of Chesapeake. It has many clothing in the center of the store and the home decor in the back. Patrons need to be mindful of not dumping donations in front of the store.

Been coming to this thrift store since I was a little girl and I’m now almost 25. They have continually raised the prices to be astronomical. I’m not sure if I’m just cheap or if they are just not making any money anymore. But I’m not sure who’s going to pay $15 for worn jeans, $25 for obviously used/worn shoes, or $20 for used sheets. The whole store also smells like cigarette smoke. But that could be from the employees smoking right next to the front door. The whole store has a very dirty feeling to it. It’s also always been very hot and stuffy. It’s definitely not what it was 20 or even just 10 years ago. Hell, even when I was in high school seven years ago, this was still one of the cheapest thrift stores. You could walk in there any day of the week and get jeans for $3 and shirts for $.99, and shoes for $5 or less. This used to be one of the best thrift stores in Great Bridge and now it’s not even worth the drive anymore.
