I placed a $5000 special order for carpet with Lowes which didn't arrive til 3 weeks later. When I went to pick up my carpet, they had the totally wrong color carpet. I ordered grey, they sent tan. They advised me that they I will have to cancel my order and place another order to get the correct carpet which it will take 3 days to get the funds back on my card. Before I placed the order, I went to speak with a manger to ask about accommodations and he advised me that, they wont discount my purchase until I receive the correct order, just incase it happens again. I placed the order a second time, and guess what, they did the same exact thing. Sent tan instead of the grey. At this point, its been over a month and I still dont have any carpet.
I speak to a female manger Danielle and of course, I have to cancel my second order and place a 3rd order. I asked her what is the accommodation, she said 10% discount and try to get the order expedited. I asked her what is the ETA because I cant wait another 2-3 weeks for carpet, but she had no answer but said she will call they warehouse (MoHawk Carpet) and find out. She calls me back and said they dont have an exact ETA but faster than before. This whole experience is unacceptable. What the puts the icing on the cake is that I went to 2 other flooring stores and they both have the same exact carpet I order through Lowes and can have it ready for pickup in 1-2 business days. This will be the last time I spend money at Lowes!!! Home Depot here I COME!!!

Garden section offers SUPERB service! Two employees helped me get a cart because they were almost nonexistent inside the store! One of the employees volunteered to mark down my selections from $7 to $4 per pot. I saved a lot of money! I highly recommend the garden center. Beautiful quality plants everywhere!

Horrible customer service. I ordered red mulch which was picked up by my Gardner and put in my garden. When I got home I realized the Mulch was BLACK. I went to the garbage to get all 13 bags and all of them said RED. The mulch was obviously defective. Lowe’s asked me to pick up the mulch out of my garden (13 bags worth) and bring it back in the store. This is ridiculous!!! I can provide pics of the mulch and the bags. And then I was hung up on!!

Lowes may have the absolute worst customer service and the Lowes in Chesapeake is the worst. Spent thousands on cabinets and they have no idea where the pieces are or when it is coming.
Buy your cabinets any where else save some aggravation.
If you want a laugh speak to the staff at the customer service desk, not sure what their role is but not customer service.

There are about 3-5 people employed here that are helpful and actually have a clue. The rest, yikes. Most sit around on their phones looking inconvenienced by doing their jobs.

Latest Lowes Debacle: Lowes informs me that the new dishwasher ordered is ready for pickup. Go to pick it up and get to wait almost half an hour there to be told that they're canceling the order because they can't find it. Best guesses from staff is that it was sold to another customer after it arrived for me. So Lowes sells their orders out from other customers. Meanwhile I now get to wait another week+ for the new one to come in.
So here we are 3 weeks after a delivery by Lowe's was supposed to occur. Three weeks later that delivery is still showing as in progress. At no point in time in those 3 weeks has the delivery happened. To date I have spent nearly 6 hours in the store and another 19 hours on the phone with Lowe's and XPO trying to resolve this issue. After 4 hours on a Friday night trying to resolve the issue, the resolution was to create a brand new separate order,. This new delivery did occur, and in the process the delivery team damaged the hardwood floors. That was two weeks ago and I still cannot get a claim number from Lowe's or XPO to get the damage repaired. In the meantime Lowe's has stated on 4 separate occasions they will process a refund for the original order, and have failed to do so. Calls to Lowe's corporate get the issue kicked back to the store. The same store that has to date failed to resolve the situation. At a certain point this is beyond absurd. I have spent a literal day of my life trying to get Lowe's to fix this issue. My only recommendation is to never get anything from Lowe's delivered because there is 0 guarantee they will not take your money and not deliver the product.
Just at an hour for a curbside pick up. After waiting 45 minutes ended up going in to find out they hadn't even starting pulling the order yet despite it being marked ready for pickup.
