I am never one to leave a review, let alone a negative one but I called several times over the span of an hour not a single person answered. They have had possession of my package for multiple days & STILL have not shipped it to my house. I live 10 minutes from this post office.

The Chesapeake office say they close at 5:00 Monday-Friday but I went in at 4:15 and they were CLOSED! This post office is crazy!! It has been 6 weeks and I’ve been trying to have my mail come to my Mailbox and nothing! I have to go to the office and get my mail, it’s insane!! All you can do is laugh at these people!!

Poorly managed services, interior looks very rundown, and employees aren’t provided necessary resources to fulfill customer needs. Use UPS instead, USPS is a pain to deal with typically.

This is the worst post office in the 7 cities! They have not been staffed properly and have lines in excess of 10 people with only 1 employee at the counter. I can not stress this enough, DO NOT use this post office if you are hoping for a quick visit! Expect to spend at least 30 minutes in line on any given day.

Do not go to this location. I recently sent items through the mail and the recipients (different locations around the US) received an empty parcel or did not receive anything at all. The only thing they all had in common was that the parcels were dropped off at this location and were not insured or tracked.Nothing but thieves and criminals here. When I get back into town, I’m talking to the post master ASAP. So, post master, if you read this, I’ll be seeing you at the end of August to discuss how some of your employees conduct themselves.

Poorly staffed, ridiculous lines, poor customer service, staff unable to provide clear direction, and unorganized. Averages 30-50 min waits each time. Additionally,the whole line observed an employee with pink hair throwing parcel boxes from one cart to another with no regard for how that might damage the items. The entire line stood shocked. While in line, one customer was told that his PO BOX that he had paid for (receipt) and used for his business was given to someone else and they can't find his mail. Alot of eye rolling and exasperation shown by the staff.
Another employee came around the corner, saw the line and said 'nope', and went away. Sad and concerning. Left because I didn't have trust in mailing my items with this staff.
