The kids love playing at the play area while mom and dad can grill and make dinner in the small yet manageable full kitchen. The staff is always so friendly and nice. We look forward to our visit every year”

“We loved this place we stayed here for my wife's birthday and it was great, there is a great gym and cardio room. The hotel is right on the water and feels like it is in a spot away from the crowds. I can't recommend this hotel enough my wife loved it, my son loved it, and the staff was friendly great place!”

We had to switch last minute coming from The Maddox Inn (which was filthy & run down.) Andy at the Chincoteague Inn front desk was so helpful & kind. He waited for us to drive over (even though it was after 10 pm.) He even showed me the room first before charging us- since we were all still grossed out from our experience at the other motel- he wanted to make sure I was happy with the room. (Which I was!)
The Chincoteague Inn is minimalistic & simple- but what’s there is clean & I think the price is very fair for what you get. Our family of 3 stayed for 3 nights and it worked well for our needs. 2 other families who we traveled with booked their own rooms here as well. We all agreed we would stay at Chincoteague Inn again.”

“The Refuge Inn is a great place to stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the pool and hot tub -so relaxing. And the beignets were delicious!!!!”
