“Virginia Varsity in Christiansburg is awesome!!! We sold our house in October in Windmill Hills and were in a month to month rental 1/3 of the size of our normal house so we needed lots of storage. In the 25 years we've lived in Christiansburg, we've never had to use storage units and we would highly recommend for renovation projects or to simply get things out of the way. We were able to rent 3 10x20 units and packed them full! We weren't sure how many units or the size we would need to we started out w/ 2 but it was easy peasy to add a 3rd as the units were filling up. The units were adjacent to each other which was very helpful. There was a promotional rate for the first month which was also great and the higher rate after the 1st month was also very reasonable and competitive. The location was also very convenient. The units were very clean and easy to access. We used damp rid in all of our units which gave us peace of mind storing our belongings over the fall and winter. After 8 months, everything was in tact and in the same condition as the 1st day we put our belongings in storage. Michelle and Steve were awesome to work with. Communication on due dates was perfect. We had plenty of notice (via email) when the payment was due and it was clear the date we were paid through. Payments were easy to make online. When it was time to relocate to another state, they allowed us to park our 3 PODS on site. Although we could only park 1 pod at a time, Michelle was awesome helping to coordinate w/ PODS which was quite the undertaking coordinating drop off and pickup of the units. She was able to find a location to make it as easy as possible transferring our belongings from the storage unit to the pod and was quick to respond when we knew the pods would be delivered. Michelle and Steve were always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend Virginia Varsity Storage! They made a hectic season a lot less hectic! Thank you Virginia Varsity Storage!”

“I rented a unit from Mr. Craft for something like 8-9 years. Longer than I anticipated. But he and the unit was always nothing but amazing! Never had a worry with my belongings there. He also didn’t charge us when my newly adult son accidentally dented some siding with a uhaul his first time trying to navigate the facility while getting furniture out and moving across country at his first military duty station. He just said “I’ll knock it out and it’ll be fine”, even after I offered to pay for any repairs. Not to mention, once I finally cleared it all out, I didn’t have room in the truck to haul what we didn’t want off to a dump. I called him and asked if he had a way and that I’d pay him and he didn’t charge me much to haul a small truck load off. And even after all that, I got not only my deposit back, but somehow I had gotten ahead on monthly payments and he sent me every cent I paid over, even tho I had no idea and he could have kept every dime if he wanted to. One the most KIND and HONEST business owners I’ve ever encountered! If I EVER need another unit again, I will HANDS DOWN choose Craft Self Storage! Thank you so much Mr. Craft! My unexpected refund really came at a time my family could use it! And just thank you for being a good human being and business owner! 💕”
