“The woman who make's some of the hand made items in the store is pushy and money grabbing. She asked for cash only and demanded I pay in that form. It was a big turn off and I wouldn't recommend any product that's made by her.Learn how to approach people and understand this is not the way to do business. Small business especially. Unfortunately, I found this person through Belle jar and it reflects on them. I'm all for girl power but you have no finesse.”

“My very favorite store in Occoquan. Always was always will be. Love how they mix vintage with other items in the store. Nicest people work there. I never leave empty handed. Hope you will be open Tuesday, December 19, 2023. See you then. Keep up the great inventory that you always have.”

“I contracted with VanEck Studio to choose paint colors for my entire house. The owner came to my house during the day and then back another day in the evening to compare lighting under different conditions. She picked a palette of colors that I would never have chosen for myself, but decided that I would go with them because she is a professional. Wow! I am so amazed at the changes in my house! I'm loving every single color she has chosen. I'm attaching pictures of the guest bedroom since I just finished painted that room. I highly recommend VanEck Studio and will use them again soon to design my master bath renovation.Services: Interior painting”

“Best place to buy new, old, unusual, and hard to find items. The folks that sell and work there are very nice and try to accommodate the customer, always. We have made many purchases at the DC Big Flea and loved every one. If you want a day of fun and great adventures, come out to the DC Big Flea!”

“Amazing little antique place. Everything is placed so neatly, with care and thought, that it was a enjoyable walking through the whole store. A lot of things were out of my budget, but I would love to come back here when I have a little extra to spend.”

“The Preservation Station is an adorable little shop in the heart of Occoquan. It is the perfect place to find a gift for that hard-to-buy for person in your life. I left with an antique box to keep all my recipes in at home and it's a great addition to my decor. I could have spent hours looking at all of the cool knick-knacks and kitchen supplies but had to limit myself...otherwise I would have bought the whole shop! Highly recommend for cool antiques and vintage goods.”

“I love the stuff. I have such a good time searching through it! It’s very nostalgic. Today I bought a 1970s dress for a Halloween party at work. I can’t wait to show it off to everyone and the best part is that it was on sale! I will send pictures once I’m all dressed up and thank you so much for finding all of These amazing retro outfits. Definitely spreading the word.”

“My mom and I brought down a bunch of old coins and silver certificates my father's family had left him with. We had no idea what to do with any of it beyond getting it out of the house. Turns out, they also take some antiques and military memorabilia, which my dad also had from his father, so we brought that down too. We got rid of all the weird coins, the WWII helmets, etc. and cleared out stuff so my mom isn't stuck with it. Everyone at Cameo was so very kind, efficient, and professional. They tallied it all and wrote her a check on the spot. We just sat and chatted with everyone while they worked and sorted. Nice folks, lovely family who owns the shop, and they all are very knowledgeable and efficient. Clearing out stuff has been very hard on us, and these folks were so nice and made it so much easier on us. Thank you.”

“Gurl, RUN don't walk!! I recently bought a medium sized table there to put in my room as a bed side table and he sold it to me for $50 (the og price was $125 marked down to $80)! I wish i was able to spend more there cause there were some really cute chairs and stuff but the deal he made fit so well with my budget i was left SPEECHLESS! When I came the next day to pick it up he was so kind and helped me move stuff around in the van I absolutely loved doing business with him! He told me and my friend that he's selling the place so def get over there before the place gets sold!”

“One of my favorite stops every time I visit down town Manassas. The owner is so knowledgeable about the collectibles there, he’s so fun to talk to. Prices are really good and there is always new things to see.”

“I stumbled across Iron Horse over a year ago and have made it in every several months. There is generally a good selection of items and fairly reasonable. I love that they sell old money as well. The store us broken up into booths. Some sellers are overpriced... like upstairs the seller has lots of clothing and it most definitely is higher than it should be. It's 2 floors so carve out time to really look around and see what is good.Happy Hunting”

“We were happy to have been introduced to Carol Walser and her service, Market House, to conduct an estate sale at our Bethesda home in fall 2021. Carol and her team conducted a four-day sale, managed the removal of items sold, and then found ways to donate what remained, so that we did not have to be involved in emptying all the we were leaving behind. It was, for us, an excellent way to lessen the emotional drain of downsizing. Our sincere thanks to Carol and her whole team!”
