“I can only comment on my experience with this Shell gas station, specifically regarding gas prices. I'm currently in Oakton, dogsitting, and initially attempted to fill up my tank on Chain Bridge Road. However, the price of $3.75 for unleaded gas seemed excessively high, and I'm always mindful of fuel costs these days.So, I decided to utilize my Google search skills to find the nearest gas stations, and to my delight, a few options popped up in the area, complete with posted prices for regular fuel. This is an excellent feature that helps individuals like me make informed choices and save a few cents.Upon discovering this particular Shell station, I didn't hesitate to drive approximately 1.5 miles to take advantage of their price of $3.29 per gallon, saving me a significant amount compared to the more expensive options mentioned earlier. I greatly appreciate that Shell offered a competitive price without overcharging.Since it's a self-serve station, I believe it deserves a 5-star rating for providing affordable fuel options and allowing me to make a cost-effective choice. “If you are looking for authentic homemade tacos from your Spanish grandmother come here. Looking from outside in you would judge incorrectly from how it looks from the outside. But rest assure that this place has the best tacos better than Manassas which has a lot of Spanish tacos. You must try the chicharrón tacos my favorite! Crunchy, fresh and super delicious. Every time I eat them from here I feel like I am actually in a Spanish country for example like Mexico.Service is awesome ! food is superb ! Atmosphere is expected!”
“So I was in need of a safety inspection before my court date. I had very limited time and there was a about half a dozen cars waiting for inspections. I explained my predicament and asked how late they were open… I told the owner that I would just come back later, he said not to worry and squeezed me in right away. Customer service and is on point. “Can’t say enough good things! We broke down on our trip from New York to North Carolina. Luckily we ended up right across the street from Stringer’s. Mike was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with our very old car. He and his crew were able to repair our vehicle so that we were able to make the rest of the trip. “I have been taking all of my cars here for a decade. Dale is awesome - he's never steered me wrong. I took my 15-yr old FJ Cruiser to Parkway Shell and they replaced the brakes - pads, calipers, rotors, fluid and all for less than the other two shops in the same plaza. And they don't try and sell you on anything you don't need. Dale even once told me during a safety inspection on my Prius that my brake pads were within limits but would most likely not be for next year. That was it - no quotes or recommendation to replace them right there. That's an honest broker. Highly recommended!”

“I have gone to fill the tank up at Wawa many years because the location was really good for me to fill up the gas ⛽️. Everything is good except for the store size.The space for the guest is small and always crowded, and there are long lines at the counters. Although I have liked to get light meals there. But since there was another gas station built on Caton Hill Rd, I stopped by to fill the tank up because this location is safer to enter on Caton Hill Rd.”

“This is a clean and tidy gas station. If memory serves me correctly, for years this was the Crown gas station that used to have the best prices around. Obviously as it's Mobil it doesn't, but they are usually competitive with gas stations in the area. If you're really uptight on pricing the circle a couple miles away is better, but these folks offer a deal on this side of town. Plus you're close to where 29 and 50 meet, so it does have a viable spot when you're stuck in Fairfax City's hellacious traffic. I love the little store here. They actually have a lot of items for their diminutive size, and all the employees are very friendly. As for the pump area, it's new, clean and modern. I absolutely love the canopy and the amount of room, for any vehicle of any size. This has got to be the prettiest place to fill up, and your fancy dress shoes won't smell of STP and antifreeze. The trash bins by the pumps, and the vacuum cleaners by the storefront are excellent. I'm happy to recommend this gas station. Obviously getting out can be challenging, as area drivers can be completely rotten and block you in, but every once in awhile that reasonable human will let you out back on the road. Definitely a good spot to fill up.”

“A small and newer 711. I like that the staff here is cognizant about fresh coffee. They are all super polite, and I wish parent company Southland Corporation, would go with these as the new model. Yes it can feel slightly cramped, especially during rush periods, but organized and well marked for the win. It makes a emergency run for Pepto easier, or just getting that candy bar for a quick pick me up. Where the cash registers are makes sense. It's an island in the middle of the business. It allows for extra speed, and both egress doors are close. You can literally grab your coffee and roll out, and the parking lot is set up in an intelligent design. They put thought into this one. It's super tidy and is among the best, if not the best 711 in the region.”

“Nice clean place to catch Omniride buses, Greyhound buses, VRE trains, or Amtrak trains. It has a little shop to buy tickets, snacks, drinks when open but because of low staff hours keep changing. But there are areas to buy VRE or Amtrak tickets by machine. No staff when the shop is closed. Same for the bathroom. Plenty of places to sit. Nice place if you're just waiting but not for long waits.”
