Three years and two kids later, from the baby room to pre-k, your kids will flourish with the perfect mix of love, care, education, and play! A special shout out to the second moms who have adored and mentored our boys: Amanda, LeAnna, Jackie, Ashley, Nigar, Destiny, Myra, Shania, Sofia, Efi, Shifat, Jayne, Pam, Regan, and Dani. We love the place so much we are sending our oldest son to private kindergarten there!!”

“We loved having our twins at this school. They were at this daycare from 3 months to 2 years. Sadly, we had to leave the school because we moved farther south to Richmond. My 5-star review is because of Ciara (the Director) and Miss Annette (Teacher). They are the backbone of the school, with years of experience and compassion for all the kids that attend the school. I could see it every day at drop off and pick up. My kids would run up and hug them or greet them unprompted.

This is not to say that others who work at this location are not great at what they do. I just interacted with these two the most and had a great connection with them.

It was not always sunshine and rainbows, but I always felt heard when I had concerns, and they were always willing to make changes to give my children a better experience at the school. Ciara even went out of her way to help me find a sister school of the Merit to help us with our moving and transferring process. This was a huge deal for me and solidified my feelings about this location.

I recommend this school to any parents looking for a good school in the area. The price can be higher if you have more than one child at the school, but it's worth every penny when you know they are in good hands.”

“We were seeking a structured classroom environment close to our home and we have been quite pleased with Goddard in Fairfax City. While childcare costs have certainly increased since pre-2020, the results we see vs our previous structured daycare experience are well worth the expense.”

“We sent our 6-month-old son to Happy Faces and we felt he was provided excellent care by his teachers/staff. Each morning when dropping him off, I could tell that the staff really cared immensely about each child, and as new parents, they gave us helpful advice as our son reached new milestones. When he as 16 months old, he joined the toddler class and participated in their "Summer Samp" program. He was able to do splash days, bike days, they had petting zoo, and a magician come visit the kids. Overall, we had a great experience with this daycare. I think we would have kept him here through pre-school had my job situation not changed.”

“I've had two daughters go through Spring Mar. The experience has been great for both as they easily transitioned to Kindergarten. The teachers and staff are special and take pride in the children and the school. The class sizes are small, so that you're your kids get individual attention. I would definitely recommend Spring Mar to anyone looking to get their kids a head start for education.”

“This has been our first experience with daycare of any sort and we're very happy with the entire team at Fairfax KinderCare. The staff has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive in all aspects. The Director and Assistant Director provide rapid communications and are very helpful with all billing and enrollment questions. The Teachers are very friendly and attentive to my infant son who always has a smile on his face. We love the app which provides real-time feedback for naps, diapers and feeding, as well as pictures, throughout the day.”

“Our child started at Lake Ridge KinderCare at 6 months old. As first time parents, we were very nervous at first to leave her in the care of others, but our worries literally disappeared on day 1. She has grown and learned SO much since then, and it’s very evident that she also LOVES spending time at her school. Huge shoutout to all the infant/toddler room teachers, and especially to Ms Ana and Ms Maria who have been there since the very beginning.

I found out about it through friends whose children are now in their 20s and 30s, in addition to friends with currently attending preschoolers. “This Kindercare is AMAZING! The director and all of the teachers and helpers are wonderful and so kind. They provide great activities for the kids year round. The summer times are filled with fun events like “water day” or having different vendors come in to do petting zoo or magic shows. The app they have is so nice to get picture and video updates through out the day. We were moving away at the end of the summer and felt very sad to be leaving this Kindercare family. Our daughter had started there in the infant classroom (now almost 5) and we really felt very lucky to have found this place. Highly highly recommend!!!”

“We are going to the Goddard School since 2022. It has been an amazing experience for us and our daughter, and she has received so much love here from everyone. She is growing up as a happy kid because of the environment she got in this school. Her class teacher Ms. LaShawn is an excellent teacher and also a very caring person. She goes above and beyond to make sure that the kids enjoy their daily activities together. Our daughter loves her teacher so much that she misses her when the school is closed.

“Our children have attended Rise & Shine from 4 months old through preschool. We’ve seen the daycare grow from its first year to celebrate 10 years and we’ve always received wonderful care. The teachers are caring and nurturing; the curriculum is engaging, while also allowing kids to be kids. The family events are fun too! From the start, we knew we had made the right choice. We’ve also been glad to know our kids have been well prepared to enter kindergarten.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Compton. We made a very quick change from a different school where the administration was not up to standard. Compton able to accommodate us immediately, processing everything on the spot so we had no gap in child care. All of the teachers and administrators are friendly and personable, we developed long term relationships with many who continue to check in on our daughter even after we've departed. From the live stream cameras to the direct cell phone access to teachers and admins, there is no comparison at any other school in terms of access to your child during the day. We were so sad to leave the area and CCA! An amazing option for those seeking quality care and community in the Centreville area.”

The staff has done a fantastic job with her potty training, making what could be a challenging phase much smoother for us.

Additionally, she has made great strides in learning her colors and numbers. The engaging activities and attentive teaching methods have really made a difference in her early education. We love seeing all the photos and videos of the activities they do throughout the day. They truly care about each and every child.

“I went there after school for 4 years, until Covid hit. I loved it soo much~ we got to do arts and crafts and hang out with friends outside on the b-ball court and playground (sometimes), and I made my best friend to this day there. The counselors/instructors were very nice also. The performances we did were fun because we’d do songs we all liked, except maybe one. Overall review, I would say it’s worth the money.”
