Ice House Brewery & Kitchen
119 Monroe Bay Ave, Colonial BeachCame here for dinner, drinks and music while on vacation. Atmosphere was awesome. Like an old waterfront boathouse. They had live music which was a big bonus. Definitely seemed to be a big local hangout.
Drinks were good. I had the juicy NEIPA, and the GF had a glass of wine. We love our wings so gave them a try, along with a side of fries.
For no other food coming out while we watched, it still took 20-30 for 10 wings. They were brought out in a to go container and plopped in front of me. No plates, napkins, cutlery, nothing. After waiting a minute or two I got up walked around the other side of the bar and grabbed the paper plates and napkins.
Wings were pretty good, better than I had expected for sure. The fries, well, they are fries. Nothing special nor expected to be.
Even with that little issue, we plan to be back the next couple nights. Great vibe, amazing people, friendly and fun.

Dockside Restaurant & Tiki Bar
1787 Castlewood Dr, Colonial Beach1st time visit. Visited family who recently relocated there. They highly recommended the place. Loved the Tikki decor, very inviting. Certain during the summer the place is packed. The breakfast was delicious and servings were plentiful. Glad we arrived before the breakfast crowd started pouring in. The bloody mary was mixed just right. Little glitch with my bill (my fault) that was nicely addressed by the waitress. Most definitely will return when we’re in the area!
