Mrs. Moo's Corner at Spider Hall Farm
3915 Hallowing Point Rd, Prince FrederickWe drove from laplata to attend the jingle all the hay event. The prices seemed like a lot, especially when you include our kiddos, but they generously offered a flash sale on their site which allowed us to budget for it. When we got there, we easily understood how you could justify the price. There are so many activities for the kids, or even as a cute date night idea. Mrs. Moo’s does a lot for the local community, i would encourage anyone to attend, even at full price it is a deal for the clydesdale horses, santa experience, light trail, hay ride, petting zoo, bounce houses and more. Prices for events further away are much higher and why drive out to dc when we can support a local business that also serves our community? The attractions here are comparable and a fraction of the cost and time in the car. Since we saved money with the flash sale, we treated ourselves to their delicious ice cream. Despite it being cold, we ate ALL of it. Completely delicious! We will be back next year!

Running Hare Vineyard
150 Adelina Rd, Prince FrederickWhat is there not to love about this place?!!! it's beautiful, serene, calm, and just a very relaxing environment. We came to the firework show and we were able to put up our little tent so that the bugs would not attack us and we would stay out of the sun. I completely forgot that they have so many tables in umbrellas already set up, but that's OK. We found a spot and others had their pop-ups open as well. I even got to take a mini nap because it was so relaxing. The wine slushy are so good. You might as well buy the souvenir cup and get your $20 refill.

Calvert Crabs & Seafood
151 Central Square Dr, Prince FrederickFood is honestly really good, but be careful with the fish. Whiting would have bones in it and would always poke my mouth whenever I eat, even my younger brother was poked by them too when he would have the fish tacos.

Calvert Animal Welfare League
1040 N Prince Frederick Blvd, Prince FrederickI was there as part of a fundraiser for CAWL. I was very impressed with the loving care the staff, mostly volunteers, gave to their charges. The facility is immaculate. There's a nice dog run where each K9 is taken for half hour of exercise. It's a great organization.
