The rooms are generally clean, though some guests noted dampness and mustiness, and the beds may not be very comfortable. The inn features a friendly staff that is courteous and helpful, accommodating guests and their service animals. Guests appreciate the excellent location, as just steps away from the beach, boardwalk, and numerous restaurants. The beach nearby is mainly pebble, but visitors often find nice driftwood and enjoy the scenic views. The area is perfect for walking and exploring, especially during the day. The inn provides a free breakfast, which some found to be simple and lacking, but overall acceptable. There is also a pool available if jellyfish are present in the water. While the inn is charming and convenient, it is in need of a remodel. Smoking areas are outside but close to entrances, which can result in some indoor smoke smell. Overall, River Edge Inn is a modest, comfortable place to enjoy a relaxing stay by the ocean, with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere.
It was nice to spend a relaxing long weekend in a clean place next to the ocean, close to the good restaurants, ice cream shop, etc.

Stayed for 4 nights with my dog. Very friendly staff, great location.Room not very clean. Sticky floor, microwave filthy I cleaned before using. Damp and musty.Walkability: Close to everything
