“What a great find for a mid-holiday escape with friends! This super cute Inn accommodated 3 families with kids ranging from 4-20 years old beautifully. Amazing water pressure, comfortable beds, fresh linens and fluffy towels made our winter stay oh so cozy! And the location is perfect to catch a breathtaking sunrise on the beach, delicious lunch at a nearby wine bar, and finish our day with a welcoming brewery. There are cute shops that are open and a few chain restaurants that are perfect for an easy bite.
Check in was easy, super responsive host, and clean rooms. We will be back :)”

“Excellent location. Walk out the door and you're at the beach.Room was as expected for a tourist town. Room was clean enough to be acceptable. Bed was not very comfortable. There was a foam cover on the mattress. Staff was courteous. Hotel grounds were clean with beautiful flowers planted all over.My only complaint is that while there was a small handful of guest the room next to us had new guests come in when they could have been placed a door down from us.Nearby activities: Not many activities in the off season.Walkability: Short walk to the beach and boardwalk.”

“For the price, I thought I was going to get something quite basic; what I experienced instead turned out to be one the best experiences I've had with an American roadside hotel.

The property looks super trim and safe and the building is obviously kept up well. The lobby is cozy and there are plenty of snacks you can purchase, should you choose not to venture out.

The best part of this hotel is the room! My room had a small kitchenette, spotless bathroom, and plush rocking chair. I only regret not bringing my own food, as I could have cooked up a lovely meal.

The location is just across the street from a variety of shopping and food places. This is also a great launching pad to explore the region, including Colonial Beach, which is only 20 minutes away.

I was also worried about potential noise, but I did not hear a peep the whole night.

Finally, the lobby staff were fun and friendly and even wished me good luck for a triathlon I was competing in. Imagine that I was expecting basic, and walked away feeling valued and uplifted, no joke -- the hotel is that good (keeping in mind it's a budget hotel and not a resort). Tip: park your car and forget it, as you can easily walk to about five good restaurants.

“The room is huge. The bathroom is huge. We are reward members and have stayed in other hotels up and down eastern seaboard. Service was great nd very helpful with restaurants. Room very clean. Large desk area. TV was on wall so it did not take up space. The item that put me over the top was the Dove soap, shampoo, and hand cream (not the orange smelling stuff)! Haven't tried breakfast yet.

After a night on the 4th floor, HIE lost a star. The air went to heat in the middle of the night. The man, not the young man, was of no help with the air/unwanted heat.”

“Best stay I have had in awhile. I hope that the front desk couple is getting paid enough for all that they do. They are working hard making rooms too and are so sweet. Would definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: Colonial BeachFood & drinks: El Ranchero”

“Breakfast was great, had plenty of hot and cold foods to choose from. Staff was very accommodating when extra items were requested. Didn't use the pool or fitness center, they were open we just didn't have time to check them out.”
