“I’ve been a member of AmFam for almost 10 years and I’m just getting to this review, smh! I’m an absolute fan of this place! I’ve been to almost all locations and although it’s one of the smaller facilities Colonial Height has my heart! First the staff… JOHN, DERRICK, DJ, MELISSA, SHEENA, & BEN (those are the only ones I know by name) and all of the other staff members are unmatched! They always have a smile, words of encouragement (sometimes quite witty), and helpful. The facility is clean and taken care of. The upgraded equipment and machines are appreciated and nice. I like that the sauna is co-ed so you end up having some great conversations and laughs while getting to know your fellow gym members and take your mind off the heat and sweat! While I hope and wish one day we would return to the 24 hour model, I’ll suck it up because I’ve tried others and they don’t compare. Heck John even got Ben to walk me to my car because I was scared the Geese/ ducks were gonna attack me, lol! AmFam I’m here to stay- Thank you!”

“Overall good experience. No designated place to stretch, no stretching mats, and no sauna. They did have massage chairs, hydrochairs, and tanning beds. Bathrooms and showers were clean.”
