“This is the best store I’ve done Christmas shopping at!!! The customer service was amazing. I want to give a huge shout out to one of the workers, Kaleisha Arrington!! She went above & beyond with helping me make sure I found what I was looking for & she had such a positive, amazing attitude even though she was feeling under the weather. It’s workers like her that will be the reason I will 100% be returning back to shop at this location.”
“I found exactly what I was looking for and the gentleman who works in the back helped us with the products we needed, he was very knowledgeable and friendly, He worked in the Garden and insecticide area!”
“Stopped in this cute shop on a rainy Sunday. Was quickly greeted by a charming young lady. The shop is located in an old house that is very cool in itself, many rooms containing very nice displays. They showcase an eclectic variety of home decor, gifts, upcycled items, vintage and antique lots of their items were just my style. They had a fun selection of jewelry at good prices. fancy door knobs and hooks old and new. When I was ready to make my purchases, it was a friendly, quick and efficient check out. I am very happy with the goodies I bought. I don't live in the area but would definitely return to Hoo's Pickin anytime I'm in that neck of the woods. Very pleasant experience. A happy customer from Doswell, VA”

“Dollar tree changed it's dollar policy but there are great deals and quality items; cheaper than other places. Large packs of Golgate toothpaste, battery powered toothbrushes to name a couple.”

“Discounted name brand/new clothes, shoes & misc items. I'm a 14w shoe size and always find something between $20-$70 that fits me . A bit more options than Burlington. Thank you..”

“Great experience, super friendly staff! Jim and Jessica were fantastic and really took their time reviewing the different configurations to help us determine the best set up for our home. As a result we were able to find the perfect living room set! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because they have an absolutely fabulous dining set that only comes in one color even though the signage includes other options- which is misleading, but that's obviously no fault of the store or it's employees - im just super sad I couldn't get the color I wanted.”
