“There was an issue with my car cutting off while driving, no dash lights no warning. After 1 failed attempt to fix, we were not charged for the additional work.. An honest mechanic is hard to find these days, and we got lucky and found one. Any other issues I have with any car i own, this is where i will go!!!!”

“When I tell you this is THE best place to get fresh fried chicken, I mean it! I started back eating chicken since I’m pregnant again (been vegetarian for 3-4 years now) and I thought of this place because my dad used to always get chicken catered by them. So I came back to try their food out as an adult and nothing has changed. I won’t go anywhere else BUT here to get my chicken.”

“Our quick experience at Templeton’s Market was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary, they have a coffee bar, and SOME of the prices for items are actually a good deal or the same deal you would get in the store. Lady working the register greeted back and had a small conversation with me.”

“A simple store that was right next to our hotel, and when we were snowed i for a day, Natour's was very handy indeed. They had all the goodies we needed and were just a few steps away. I enjoy that convenience. Nice people too!”

“Great little convenience store with a great selection of country menu options including fried chicken, breaded potato wedges, macaroni and cheese and more! They also have gas pumps and a packed store selection! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the food was hot and delicious! We personally stop for the "tater wedges" ?❤?. Laid back hometown feel with picnic table seating outside for dinner and conversation with a cold bottle of soda. Nostalgia!”

“I'm always stopping in when I pass through. Whether it's still known as Jed's or not(now known as Campbell Highway Mart), the fried chicken is worth the stop. Add some mac n cheese, and you're set. Staff has always been nice and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to drop by on your way through.”

“This used to be an Exxon station with a convenience store and parking for large trucks. Now, it's a Unocal 76 and owned by Moore's, best known for the chili dogs and their convenience store further west on US460 with the tree growing through the roof! I live near Farmville but work in Rustburg. The spot in Appomattox is a good spot for me to pick up some food on the way to work. They have a pretty good selection of food to choose from, including fried chicken and corn dogs. They are famous for their chili dogs, which use the bright red, Jesse Jones dogs. Being originally from NJ where "red hot dogs" isn't a thing, I'm not a huge fan of them...but I am starting to get used to them. Their "regular" chili is great, but hot! The spices will leave your tongue tingling afterwards! For those who don't want something that spicy, they also have a very good, "mild" or "sweet" chili option. For me, some diced onions and chili is all I need! They also have some prepared salads, chicken sandwiches, fruit in cups and deserts, along with the other staples one would expect to find in a convenience store. There is an eating area if you wish to eat your food there rather than take it with you. Most of the time, I'm in and out in five minutes.”

“The only reason I am rating this a four star, is because my previous experiences were much better than today's experience.Whoever fried the fish today, October 13th, 2003; fried the fish and old grease. My family was really looking forward to this fish and it was a big disappointment.Customer service is always excellent. The ladies are always polite and welcoming. But the fish was awful. However, the chicken looked REALLY good. I probably should have gotten some.”
