It also seems like they partner with local sports clubs, because when seasons start up, they often run discount periods that have been incredibly helpful for us while trying to stay within budget but still get our kids quality gear.

On a recent visit a few months back, we needed to update my son’s soccer cleats after he had outgrown his previous pair. When we made our way to the shoe section, we were greeted by a gentleman whose name I believe was either Aiden or Jayden (apologies if I’m getting that wrong). He had a mustache and tattoos and mentioned he was also a Marine Corps veteran. As a fellow Marine, we ended up bonding a bit over our shared service, which made the experience even more meaningful.

More importantly, he went above and beyond to help my son find the right fit. He took the time to consider that my son’s feet are still growing and helped us choose a pair of cleats that allowed some room to grow while still maintaining good performance and comfort. He also shared helpful tips and recommendations on how to properly size cleats going forward and how to tell when it’s time for the next pair.

The entire interaction was excellent. His professionalism, patience, and kindness really stood out, and it’s the kind of service that keeps us coming back. I’m also proud to see local stores hiring veterans. It’s something I personally appreciate.
