“I saw Tickle from moonshiners in here I was with my girlfriend who was at home 3 year boy who I didn't father but I'm raising as my own of course. Tickle walked by smiled at him and waved. Latee when we go to the register he said "That boy sure looks like his mama cause he damn sure don't look like you" I laughed he was always my favorite on that show as for dollar general I go for 2 reasons it's close or if I'm to lazy to go in Walmart.”

“Nice employee's. Very helpful. I think I'll shop more here from now on because dollar general up the road on 29 in danville act like they don't care and like they are upset that you wanna check out. I feel better shopping and Family Dollar.”

“This DG has the one of the smallest holiday sections of the many stores that I visit. Once they sell it, thats it. Seems like its nithing to replenish the sold items.”

“Great atmosphere and the pastor brought the word. Place where you go to fellowship, worship, and leave with a message. But one thing will say is this you will never leave the same way you went in... Thank you Jesus”

“This is a great store! This particular Family Dollar is extremely clean, spacious, and well stocked. There is a small bit of clutter but it is very manageable. The staff here are exceptional through and through! So kind and friendly.

Highly recommend!”

“Close to where I live so its very convenient!! I like the people that work there. One evening when I came in, the young African-American male employee was helping an elderly gentleman with his shopping. I just thought that was so sweet and above & beyond what was required of him!”

“I swear this place has saved my life on a routine basis. I started going there back in the early 2000's. They had EVERYTHING. Mostly canned goods for me. But the lucky finds like As-Seen-On-Tv items make your day and thats a big bonus. The place is usually clean. On 3rd St. & also on Sandford Blvd were my go to spots. I'd hop on my folding bike with my back pack strapped tight. Smoking some(shhh), and bopping to Hector Lavoe, or Musiq Soulchild. Now that I'm in VA it's no different. Same good deals. They even sell my favorite VooDoo Ranger Juice Force IPA beer!!!!!! Hope they stay in biz forever. THE COMMUNITY WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU!!!!!”

“This is a nice Dollar General. It's a very old store so it is still in a plaza and looks like it hasn't been refreshed since the late 90s. Other than it looking a little dated, it's clean, well stocked and not much clutter. Staff are typically nice.

Highly recommended!”
