I liked the other reviewer that said the “best bang for your buck”, they were spot on :). It’s one of those stores that you never know what you might find.Their prices are the best. One example, I got a pair of velour Spyder joggers for $9.99. Crazy. Over the years, I’ve gotten some awesome items, at great prices, of course. They have name brand clothing, backpacks, luggage, shoes, etc. They seem to have almost everything but on a much smaller scale of a big box store. No matter what town I’m in, if there’s a Ross there, I check it out.I saw a bad review about the fitting rooms. Yeah, Ross could do better. How about leave the dressing rooms open at the front of store. I feel they shouldn’t be closed for cleaning during store hours, unless there was an accident or something. Having the dressing rooms open… I’m guessing lead to more sales :). But don’t feel it’s a reason to lower my star rating if there are issues with the dressing room, because I do love this store. Hoping they see the reviews and fix the issues. Customers want to try stuff on, it’s paramount when you want to buy clothes. All in all, I’m drawn to Ross and have to stop in when I’m in this shopping center.

Today we visited Ross @Dulles and had a very strange experience. While we have completed our first billing payment ($335.73 for 27 items). Another cashier came to our counter cashier and collected our receipt. When I asked our cashier why did other counter cashier collected our receipt, our counter cashier mentioned that it was not our receipt. It was really strange and surprising as to why the other cashier collected our receipt and stored it.

The store was orderly and seemed well stocked on the day thay I visited. I didn't purchase much but my friend found a lot of good things. Overall it was a good shopping experience right up until we got to the cashier. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no smile. I greeted her and she mumbled something. I guess I took to long to put my card away so she put my receipt on the counter instead of waiting 2-3 seconds. She clearly did not want to be there and it showed. I wish I keptmy receipt so I could ID this cashier.

Well, I've been in line for ten minutes with no register open. Only the apparent return lines but she was gone for over 5 before I realized she was even open. Millennial behind counter on his phone the entire time "sorry registers not open" .... Not the best!

I’m only putting 1 star due to the staff being polite. But I arrived at 9:25pm on a Saturday night and as soon as I arrived, an announcement was made that the fitting rooms were closing. This is an hour before the store is closing. I am in between sizes and definitely need to try on clothes. I don’t enjoy standing in long lines to make returns so if I can’t try on clothes, there is no point in shopping. They might as well have closed at 9:30pm. Very disappointing.

ALL THE DRESSING ROOMS CLOSE 1 HOUR EARLY.Customer service is not very good. Look at other reviews. Same over n over.Nextdoor at t.j. Maxx/ HomeGoods they close their dressing rooms an hour early as well. But when you say something to them they will open the dressing room for you and make sure you can try on your clothes. A way different experience other places than Ross. Ross has poor customer service and staffing.

I was just reading some reviews & I'm very shocked with a lot of them. The girl at the fitting room was very nice & helpful. The cashier wasn't "slow". I did try to talk to her a little bit asking for her opinion on shoes but I didn't get much feedback- but I didn't make much of it. She's a young girl working retail. Not for nothing- but it was probably a part time job for her, she's young, it was a gorgeous day out & would probably be rather doing something else, like most stuck at work on a beautiful day- but she still came to work to do her job, unlike most young girls now a days that ditch their job every time nice weather comes around. This is also literally the cleanest ross I have literally ever been to. Between tj maxx, ross, Marshalls, Bloomingdale's outlet, Nordstrom rack- this is the absolute cleanest out of all of them- that I've ever been to. Ever. Everything was sized!! The wovens were with the wovens, the knits with the knits, etc. which is such a rarity. It's usually all mixed up. I've been in retail management for ten years & I was pleasantly impressed by this store.

I would put zero stars if I could as we experienced the worst customer service today. As I was shopping at the store on my way to checkout, my child who was just recently getting used to potty training said that she needed to use the bathroom. So we go straight there and we realized the bathroom door has one of those keypad locks on it. While I was waiting, my wife went quickly to the checkout area and asked one of the employees for the bathroom code but she refused to share it. After multiple times of requesting and her completely ignoring her she ended up walking back to us with no code so we decided to go to the neighboring store. Right before we leave, we saw a teen walk up to the bathroom and type in the code to get in. We asked him how he got the code and he said he just knew it. He was nice enough to let us in and use the bathroom. This was a very stressful time as it took us a very long time to get our child to be potty trained and accidents like that in a public store can be very traumatic.I am still upset how this was handled. We went straight to the manager after to report and even she said she doesn’t understand why there would be a code lock on the bathroom door and thinks it’s silly herself.. This could’ve all been prevented if the employee would’ve just gave the code knowing a child needs to go to the bathroom urgently. She definitely lacked common sense and decency.

I've been shopping at Ross since we moved to NOVA almost 30 years ago. I love finding bargains at Ross. Today, I found two identical women's Champion shirts in different colors. The Champion price tag showed the MSRP was $20. For the Ross price, one had a $6.99 ticket and the other a $16.99 ticket. I asked the cashier if she could adjust the price. She called the manager over to talk to her. When the manager came over she immediatly tore off the $6.99 price tag. She walked over the to work out shirt rack and brought back an Under Armour shirt with decoration all over the front and showed me the price tag, which was $10.99. She told me Champion is more expensive than Under Armour and she refused to honor the $6.99 ticket that was originally on the shirt and she would not sell me the shirt for the $6.99 price. I've never had this happen before at any store. Stores always honor the price they have an item priced. Also, I shop at Ross for the deals. I'd never shop there if I was only saving 15% off the MSRP.
