Staff Joana so friendly and welcoming provided me fantastic assistance in getting flu shots by Nathan for 2026 , refilling 4 prescriptions and taking extra miles to contact my Dr offices if RX may require refill orders. Joana also taught me how to utilize app to pay ahead features etc and get medicine efficient and effective via app. Thank you for all your warm support and hard working to help me. —- This long overdue compliment on Costco Rx department. I have been receiving great service and pricing on RX and for my son dogs. Feel great you get everything in on shop at Costco. Best of all reasonable refund or price adjustment for lots items within 30 days etc. RX department provides excellent quality customer service, it fills , reminder next refilled and contact your doctor for refill prescription etc… this Costco RX staff are fantastic and easy and warm to work with… Staff like Joana, Rosa, Amanda and many more over years for whom I may have not catch their names… thanks you very much. I have been a royal customer for Costco and can’t live without it, love Costco got to have it. “This is one of my preferred Costco locations in the DMV due to the fact it doesn't get super crowded. Even on weekends, I find it to be less crowded than others in the area such as Fairfax. On a weeknight, it's even better and you can park pretty close and I've never had to wait in a super long line here. Their food court also is quick compared to others in the area but due to the layout of the store, it can get congested. I visited last night (weds evening). Overall, Costco is really hit or miss depending on location with their "death star" items (i.e., markdowns). When I visited last night they didn't have a ton of clothing on sale but in the past, they have. Check out lines were non-existent at self checkout, however, an employee accused me of cutting in line (I apologized but I truly did not see anyone in line). The food I ordered took less than 2 minutes and the pizza had foil on it without me having to ask. However, they were out of drink tops, some sodas came out clear and needed replacing, and there was soda all over the floor. I'm considering this a one-off and giving them the benefit of the doubt here as this hasn't happened before.”

“Was out of town and went to a Costco in Reston area. Saturday afternoon on sunny day. Wow, extremely busy, hard to find parking despite the big lot. Inside extremely crowded, despite the store size, hard to get around with all the people. Selection of product and orices was good. Store was clean and uncluttered except for people. Checkout lines were 7-9 peoole deep, but for a busy day, not all the checkouts were open... hard to understand this. Could not find employees on the floor to answer questions. But did find one, who's answer was to check with customer service... I just wanted to know if they carried a product and where it might be. All in all good store, good prices... but avoid busy times... Simply to crowded.”

“*Outstanding Service at the Food Court!* I've visited Costco warehouses in many states across the U.S., and honestly, the food court is usually one of the most chaotic areas—long waits, confusing pickup, and people crowding around the counter. Today at the Sterling Costco, I had a completely different experience, thanks to Chris. He was the only employee working the front counter while two others were preparing pizzas in the back, yet he handled everything with incredible speed and organization. He moved like a spinning top, constantly in motion, but never looked overwhelmed. Every order was called in the exact order it was received, making the entire pickup process fair, smooth, and easy to follow. I've seen other Costco food courts with three employees working the front, and they still weren't as efficient as Chris alone. His speed was easily three times faster than what I've experienced at most other locations. Chris is a great example of professionalism, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. Costco is very fortunate to have such an exceptional employee. Thank you for making what is usually a stressful experience so pleasant!”

“I started coming to Sam's Club once I realized how advanced they are and no crowds (compared to Costco). They are very advanced, with the app, so I pretty much have zero interaction with staff...except at the exit. Not sure where to even start! They pretty much carry everything in bulk, similar to Costco, but they don't have as much variety. -Shopping: There is an option to use "Scan & Go" on the app by scanning all the items while shopping (or at the end...). Once completed, there is a designated "check out" area (instead of checkout lane) and payment is made directly through the app and VOILA, done! The exit arches have cameras that capture the items in the cart and match to the receipt, which means someone does not have to count the items manually. There is also a separate self-checkout area where we can use their scanner to scan the items and pay accordingly. -Gas pump: There is an option on the app under "Fuel" to scan the QR code on the pump, select the correct payment option and follow the instructions to fill gas. So EASY! There is also the old school way of scanning the membership card. I will no longer use the optical department as no one working when I'm at the club and and they don't know which eye benefit providers they accept and provide incorrect information. I won't even go into our experience, otherwise I'd have to lower the stars. They also have a small food court, which has the basic inexpensive foods such as pizza, hot dog, soft serve, etc. They do sell the infamous $4.99 rotisserie chicken. The bakery is large, but I haven't purchased any of their cakes, so I can't speak to those. The croissants are good though! There is plenty of parking available dedicated solely to Sam's Club, even if they are next to Walmart.”

“Here's the truth. This costco has great customer service. Yes, parking is horrible, so is every costco. The gas lines are going to be long, though they shouldn't. And people have a problem with respecting personal space. One of the issues with has is idiots who are so nervous to run out of gas, fill up every day even though they are on 3/4 of a tank. I watched 2 people fill up and only pumped about $10 in a BMW X7 and a Chevy Tahoe. People walk around the store like they are sight seeing. Stopping in the middle of a isle, backing up, completely disregarding the fact people are behind them. People stand right up on you and invade your personal space when at the pharmacy. I've had to tell them to back up so much that cursing is needed do delivery the point. Ultimately it's the customers that make.the costco experience bad.”

“After seeing a lot of rough experiences in the reviews I was worried because the service seemed hit or miss, but I had a pleasant experience. I got a new set of tires for my Toyota Corolla at a reasonable price; I ordered them in person where they said it could take anywhere from 2-5 days to arrive, but the next day they called to let me know the tires had already arrived. When they called me it was very easy to set an appointment for the same day, and when I came in for my appointment they completed the service fairly quickly (only about 45 minutes). The only setback for me was that they never seem to answer the phones (I also watched them ignore the phones when I was there in person), so if you have any kind of question you’d have to go in person and wait in line because even when I let the phone ring it automatically disconnects after 3 minutes of waiting.”

We hit a snag with the delivery, but as an old boss once told me- it's not about what goes wrong, the important thing is how you make it right. Bryan at the Sterling Sam's Tire & Battery Center took care of us and had the issue resolved within three business days (tires arrived & installed that Sunday). He was professional, responsive, and genuinely focused on making it right. Management at the Sterling location should know they’ve got a great team member in him, and great service in that department.”
Sam's Club, the Walmart-owned warehouse retailer, announced it's launching pizza delivery nationwide, bringing its popular $8.98 Member's Mark 16-inch Hot Baked Pizza straight to customers' doorsteps. By the end of May, all Sam's Club members can order the oversized pies for express delivery through the retailer's app or website.
