Zero self-check out stations and lines so fast the wait was nigh imperceptible. Low prices, local brands, and the same bisque floors I grew up with- immaculately waxed. “Wegmans is a beacon of hope among the shareholder-first mentality of other grocery stores. I live nowhere near a Wegmans but every time I travel somewhere I check to see if there's one nearby and always make a special trip. I was in Ashburn for a wedding and was so excited to find this Wegmans only a few miles from my hotel.
I have celiac disease and the selection of food at Wegmans that's specifically made for me is unmatched. I've never been able to get so much variety of not only prepackaged gluten free food but also things made in-house!
This one in particular had so many things I never even knew existed before and the employees were helpful and kind.
The only thing I don't like about Wegmans is that there isn't one in Columbus Ohio where I live.”

She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me when I was having car troubles, even offering to remake my food when I realized I wouldn’t make it in time for my pickup. “I SO love this place! It has absolutely everything that you could want in terms of organic or healthful items. The store is so well stocked, you could just wander around all day. I particularly like all the freshly made items. Of course, they are literally always packed full of customers, so come prepared to navigate through the aisles. Speaking of aisles, I don't think it's possible for the space between the two checkout aisles to be any narrower. You will literally be bumping your bum against the person in the next checkout line when you go to pay for your things. I would say space is at a premium, but that is an understatement. There is absolutely NO space there!
The rotisserie schedule that they cook on remains a mystery to me. Sometimes they have chicken out- sometimes they don't. That's the best I can say. According to them, there actually IS a preparation schedule. Whether or not they actually follow it could be the real question. If you happen to come in on one of those down times when there are no chickens out, You will be facing a 40 to 50 minute wait for one to become available. Not something that's pleasant to hear. They have also removed the Amazon pickup lockers from the front of the store, (where they were more convenient for the customers with their later pick up times), placed them inside of the store, and manned them with actual live employee's thus requiring the need to change the closing pickup time to approximately 3 hours earlier. This is most definitely NOT beneficial for the customer. The lockers also open later than they did before, as well. It was explained to me that there are other benefits... ? I have now moved my Amazon locker, (as a Prime member who shops quite a bit), because I need the flexibility that the lockers at Whole Foods now lack, so....
Bottom line: The merchandise here is supreme. You definitely can find items that you really can't find at Harris Teeter or Giant or even Wegmans, especially if you're vegan. However, I often feel that the store could work on things to make the overall shopping experience better for the customer. Thus, the reason for four stars versus five; the total package is important.”

Compared to other grocery stores nearby, the aisles felt easier to navigate and products stayed stocked much more consistently throughout the visit. The produce and dairy sections especially looked fresh and well-maintained. Checkout also moved efficiently, which made the trip feel far less stressful overall. “Went to this Food Lion location for the first time today, and I was thoroughly impressed. Before I even went in, I sat in my car for a minute and noticed how many people were coming in and out with groceries. After shopping here, I can definitely see why.
I’ve been to the Food Lion in Sterling before and honestly wasn’t very impressed with that store or the overall experience, but this location completely turned that around for me.
The store was bright, very clean, well stocked, and organized. I was able to find everything I needed easily without any problems. The best part, though, was the prices. Name-brand items were extremely affordable here compared to neighboring grocery stores, where you’d easily pay much more.
I picked up a good amount of things, including multiple beverages, dessert, a few sides, and hot chicken from the deli, and still didn’t even spend $40. That’s a win in my book.

As someone from Europe, I’m thrilled to find many of the products I used back home, making it a nostalgic experience for me. They offer a wide selection of produce, seafood, and Asian and Indian flavors, though it leans less towards American options—if that’s what you’re after, you might want to stick with Giant. This store is far superior to any Giant, Wegmans, or Whole Foods I’ve been to. The prices are unbeatable, and they have a fantastic range of Ayurvedic health products at incredibly low prices. Even if other locations share the same name, none compare to this one when it comes to health-conscious offerings. I haven’t found a better store yet!❤️❤️❤️”
