“I never thought I’d be reviewing a Post Office but here we are! I showed up with three packages that I needed guidance on shipping / delivered by a certain time and my wedding Save The Dates. Luz took such great care of me - saving me money and assisting the entire time. She even helped me pick the stamps for my Save The Dates based on the color of the envelopes. :) So kind, helpful and just good people. Postal workers are so under appreciated and it’s always nice to show them kindness back — some of these negative reviews don’t give the grace you really should for people like the workers at this Courthouse location. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. Thanks again, Luz!”

“This post office has AMAZING extended hours and has quick and easy service! Be sure to check what services they cover though because it does NOT cover everything! However, I had to overnight ship a letter after I got out of work late and they were able to take care of it with no problem - about $30 to overnight to Denver. The UPS about a mile away was charging $100. USPS for the win!”

“Starting in roughly the first day of 2023 the lobby is closed when the associated retail location is closed. Access to the store to the post office that is is through the lobby. The Post Office boxes are accessible only in the lobby when it is open. This was done because homeless people were sleeping in the lobby overnight. There is no shelter for single people in the neighborhood. However there is a family shelter on the corner of Patrick Henry and Leesburg Pike”

“This five star is for PAUL and Paul only. I only visit when he’s working which tends to be weekdays. Paul is ridiculously efficient, kind, friendly and will have you in and out within five mins. If you happen to visit on no-Paul day.::Good luck.I’ve never encountered a more poorly run and serviced post office than this location on King Street. They NEVER have enough people staffed on weekends. My God, you are the sole post office in a very dense populated area and management can’t simply staff at least TWO attendants on weekends? It’s unfathomable and completely ridiculous. The lines are constantly wrapped around and out of the door. Please do better USPS.”

This was no small feat, I am sure, since I visited near closing time on a Friday.I brought in a package to ship with duct tape on it, which she informed me was not allowed. I would have just left and come back another day, but she said someone else had left a roll of tape behind and I could use that. This is obviously not something that is always available, but I feel thankful that someone left tape behind and that she thought to offer it to me!”

“Danielle was very nice and helpful during my passport appointment. She was very knowledgeable of all steps of the process and created my first positive experience at a post office in my life. While I was there, I noticed that Noel and the other employee (I didn’t see his name) in the post office also sounded very pleasant and helpful while servicing other customers. Overall, this post office seemed very clean, organized and everyone there seemed to have positive energy and attitude. I could feel the good energy right from the door. I was looking a little bit confused when I entered and Noel immediately noticed and orientated me even though he was servicing other customer and there was a line of people waiting to be serviced. This is the first time I actually walk in a post office where the employees are attentive and not rude, grumpy or unhelpful. I was impressed, and decided to always use this post office in future even though it’s a little longer trip for me.
