“Starting in roughly the first day of 2023 the lobby is closed when the associated retail location is closed. Access to the store to the post office that is is through the lobby. The Post Office boxes are accessible only in the lobby when it is open. This was done because homeless people were sleeping in the lobby overnight. There is no shelter for single people in the neighborhood. However there is a family shelter on the corner of Patrick Henry and Leesburg Pike”

“Clean, well stocked, and the female professional behind the counter today (18 Oct 22 @9:12am) was very polite and informational. Definitely looking to get a PO Box from this location.”

“I would like to thank Ms. Danielle for taking such great care of me today at this wonderful post office location. Ms. Danielle is so amazing, she is a true asset to the USPS. Ms. Danielle is intelligent, professional, friendly, kind, caring, helpful, and so incredibly sweet! ?❤️? She truly made my day! She was very patient with me as I contemplated my shipping options and she exceeded my expectations! I was truly wowed by her. I will also be scanning the QR code on my receipt to give her a 10/10 rating in the postal service survey. She deserves the absolute best and I wish her so much continued success. Ms. Danielle has the kindest, nicest, most genuine smile and goes above and beyond for her customers. Thanks to her outstanding customer service, I look forward to coming back to the post office in the near future. She made my entire experience a true joy! Thank you so much, Danielle! ?❤️?”

“Danielle was very nice and helpful during my passport appointment. She was very knowledgeable of all steps of the process and created my first positive experience at a post office in my life. While I was there, I noticed that Noel and the other employee (I didn’t see his name) in the post office also sounded very pleasant and helpful while servicing other customers. Overall, this post office seemed very clean, organized and everyone there seemed to have positive energy and attitude. I could feel the good energy right from the door. I was looking a little bit confused when I entered and Noel immediately noticed and orientated me even though he was servicing other customer and there was a line of people waiting to be serviced. This is the first time I actually walk in a post office where the employees are attentive and not rude, grumpy or unhelpful. I was impressed, and decided to always use this post office in future even though it’s a little longer trip for me. I truly hope these employees are appreciated, treated and paid well, so we can have some nice people at the post office for a change.”
