743 Loop Rd, ElktonA wonderful place to board my dogs. I've been using Dogwoods Pet Lodge for years. Brenda takes the best care of my fur babies. The runs are covered and the kennels are heated and cooled. My two yorkies got so sick this last trip we were on, and she went far and above taking care of them. She bought pedialyte, chicken, rice, and pumpkin to nurse them. She actually had to feed one of them with a syringe and didn't charge us. She excercises the animals and keeps a close watch on them. The kennels are next to her home which makes things so much better. It's also a wonderful place for dog grooming. They do a great job!!

101 Downey Knolls Dr, ElktonIf you're looking for a way to get off the resort, or even if you're looking for a nice place to eat off campus, Ciro's might be the place for you. We came here for my sister's birthday and made sure to call ahead as we were a large party of 10 people. Please note that they do not take reservations. Not only did they accommodate us, but it became clear when we arrived that they have more than enough room to host multiple large parties. I had the lobster ravioli which was reasonably priced. I do wish the lobster pieces in the dish were a bit a bigger, but other than that it was delicious. Definitely recommend Ciro's next time you find yourself in Elkton!

Over the years of going there I have tried a large variety of appetizers and entrees. I haven't found anything I disliked. From the Nachos to the Salads the fried chimichangas and the piled high amazing fajitas. But, someone bought me for my birthday the El Paso steak entree. I not only had to have it for 2 meals but it was define! An be prepared, for their no empty glass service. The waiting staff is top notch. Also, they have the cleanest and fastest kitchen I have ever seen. If you're looking to find a quiet little space for a romantic evening out. They are your kind of place. But, if you and your friends need some space. They are for you as well. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, with or without the heat. You can't have a better lunch or dinner experience than, El Paso. Food for all tastes and for all ages as well.
