“If you want beautiful, solid wood furniture and great service this is the furniture store you should be shopping at!! We bought a dresser and 2 nightstands made in solid cherry at their annual October sale in Culpepper and they were ready for delivery ahead of their initial estimate. I provided my own drawer handles (I didn't see any offered that I wanted) and they gladly installed them on the dresser and nightstands. Delivery and setup in my bedroom (on the 2nd floor) was included and even helped me move the existing furniture around to accommodate the new pieces. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the furniture, the workmanship and the staff. The prices are in line with stores like Pottery Barn and others but the quality exceeds what you pay at these big-box stores. Touring the work shop is a must - the various woods and colors are amazing. Other accessories such as hand made pottery lamps (amazing!!), and decorative items are always for sale. (Thank you for my "kitchen squirrels" - they were wonderful gifts for my friends that bake a lot). If you have any doubts about their furniture, just look at the older reviews - they are consistent with my experience. You will keep this furniture forever! Will be purchasing more products in the future from these folks.”

“Absolutely love this shop. We have been to many antiques shops looking for a dry sink over the last year. We walked into Poppy & Chalk and found this gem, in great condition and very reasonably priced. They had just got it in and offered to customize it for us. However we were so impressed with its natural condition we wanted to leave it as is. They even held it for us until the next day So we could come back with our truck. If you are in downtown Culpeper, definitely check this store out. The staff is just as amazing as their furniture pieces.”

Whenever I am looking for a special gift for my family, friends, or even myself I stop in Pepperberries. The owner Sharon is so kind, helpful, and welcoming every time I visit their store as is all of her other staff. I’ve purchased everything from a bookcase to jewelry but my favorite is a Brighton (they have a great selection) bracelet I received from one of my daughters. I really like the addition of their pop-up shop, too. So much to see at Pepperberries!”

“I always find what I need here. They have many options of fabrics, stuffing, beading, you name it they usually have everything stocked. The app has great coupons and the pricing here is reasonable. The clearance section can sometimes be all over the place but the store is usually kept up with and clean. The workers are lovely and very helpful.”
