“Food Lion will never be Wegmans. But this one is so much better than the three in Roanoke Rapids that I drive right past from farther south in Halifax County to come here. It’s cleaner, bigger, more likely not to be out of sale items, and has a better selection of my more obscure favorites. For example, I prefer chopped canned asparagus to spears. In the past six months, it’s been sparse and usually unavailable at two of the RR stores. The shelf was fully stocked here. Those little things make a difference, and this Food Lion does a much better job with that attention to detail. Thanks!”
“Stranded, hungry, and car needed a charge on 58. The owner checked on me twice, helped push the car to safety, opened the store after- hours when I mentioned that I hadn't eaten. ...... But there's more.... a couple pulls up in dire need of water for their van.... he goes put of his way again!...... Sometimes you recognize the (ANGEL) in humanity. Forever grateful. Peace and Blessings Good Brother”
“Always friendly staff and they'll respond to get you checked out quickly. They also have a surprisingly large variety of products. They're always worth a look!”
“Just stopped through while traveling and used the rest room with my adult daughter who has special needs and I must say this Walmart had EVERYTHING to accommodate my daughter! Having Caroline’s Cart was a breath of fresh air as I was able to move around the store easy! The rest rooms were clean and they had seat covers stocked which you don’t normally see on the road! The staff was very pleasant in assisting us too! Great job Walmart!!”
“The manager and staff were very nice. They have alot of items. They were displayed as neat as they could get despite the room they have. Pretty much anything you need you can find there.”

“A real butcher store. They will cut the way you want. The best place for your fresh meat and frozen seafood. I did not know they have oxtail cut to your desired thickness”
