“Food Lion will never be Wegmans. But this one is so much better than the three in Roanoke Rapids that I drive right past from farther south in Halifax County to come here. It’s cleaner, bigger, more likely not to be out of sale items, and has a better selection of my more obscure favorites. For example, I prefer chopped canned asparagus to spears. In the past six months, it’s been sparse and usually unavailable at two of the RR stores. The shelf was fully stocked here. Those little things make a difference, and this Food Lion does a much better job with that attention to detail. Thanks!”

“Our local Walmart is the place where we go when we need a variety of items. We're in a very tiny area, and I'm thankful that Walmart is there when we need household goods and we can go in and find what we need fairly quickly. If you ask for help, they have no problem taking you to where that item is. They are always adding new things, and I like to browse, so that's a plus for me. I always appreciate the lower prices compared to some other stores in the vicinity. I would recommend this store.**After reading other reviews, I think at least one person had the wrong location because there is no Kroger near here.”
