I'm sure there are good banks these days. It's fine. Don't raise your expectations too high and don't expect expertise or even proficiency from staff. Budget twice as long as you think it will take and you won't be frustrated.

Unpleasant experience so far with Truist. They canceled my brand new account without notifying me and still have not returned the initial money I used to open the account almost a year later... Would not recommend.

Very friendly staff. Makes you feel like you have a local bank where everybody knows your name.
