Several years before, they’d taken good care of our guinea pig as well so in an urgent situation I knew this was the place to go. The vet nurse and vet were very kind, alleviating nerves while providing information in a way that was easy to understand. We received a card after we put our bunny down and it was such a kind gesture. Our pets were in good hands here!”

“My family and I are so extremely grateful for the loving care provided by Alpha Animal Hospital to our beloved fur baby, Dax (Daxie) throughout the years. We first took Daxie there soon after we adopted him back in 2011 and never went to anyone else, until we moved away from NoVA and had to make one ER visit locally. But, we still intended to take him to Alpha Animal for regular / non-ER visits - no matter the distance because they are that awesome. They never rush you through your appointment, they take their time with you. When he was diagnosed with diabetes over 5 years ago, they were patient with the many questions we had. Sadly, due to sudden/worsening health complications, we had to make the difficult and heartbreaking decision in July to help our 15-year-old Daxie transition to his next journey. We will never ever forget his phenomenal doctors (Dr. Segl and Dr. Kreher), vet techs and staff (Deb, Travis, Malina, Eva, et al.) that worked with Daxie over the years. The staff took exceptional care of her, and they took care of ME as well because I was so anxious about her condition. I’ve owned reptiles for over 30 years now, and I’ve seen many, many reptile vets over the years. Pender is by far the best.”

Dr. Koch is Awesome! along with her nursing staff. They handle your animals with extreme care and the prices are very affordable especially in todays economy. “I had such a wonderful experience with the team at the Fair Lakes Banfield. They truly went above and beyond to help me and my dogs, especially while trying to work around a difficult work schedule.
My senior dog was on day five of being sick, and after being passed on by two other local Banfield locations, the Fair Lakes team showed us so much compassion and made sure she was able to get the care she needed. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful from the start.
The veterinarian was extremely thorough with my senior girl and took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and establish a treatment plan. I also had a second dog who had become sick, and although we needed to prioritize my senior dog that day, the vet still took the time to consult with me about him, offer advice, and help establish a plan for his care as well.
I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated the compassion, thoroughness, and willingness of this team to help when I was already stressed and worried about having two sick dogs. Both pups already seem more comfortable and are responding well to the plan we put in place.
Thank you to the entire Fair Lakes Banfield team for making a difficult week so much easier and for taking such good care of my pups. It was truly a wonderful experience.”

The difference in her experience with Dr. Bussanich is incredible, and I’m so grateful we found her. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cat and will never go to another vet. I can’t recommend Dr. Bussanich or this clinic enough! Even the staff is always so increbily helpful and kind.”

They were patient, compassionate, and answered every single one of our questions. They gave us updates 2x a day and walked us through any changes to our cat and treatment adjustments.
