“The best. Quality of pet care and staff is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to make animals comfortable. Tell friends my pets chose this place. Participate heavily with dog and cat rescue so deal with animals in need of care on a regular basis. Once I found them 22 years ago, have gone there ever since.”

“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. On our initial visit, our cats were made to feel at ease right away. Sadly, at a later time, one of our cats was diagnosed with cancer. The compassion, care and final moments with our 11-year-old cat were beyond anything we had experienced with any veterinarian (and staff) in the past. I cannot recommend Tysons Corner Animal Hospital and Dr. Clifton and his assistant, Bobby, enough.”

“My (fur)baby needed knee surgery (TPLO). This practice was recommended by my primary care vet. Dr. Johnson did a great job. I hope not to need their services again, but would definitely come back. It’s obvious that the Drs and staff really care about their patients. I’m sure there are great surgeons other places too, however it seems like a lot of the veterinary care in the area is owned by venture capital and driven by revenue rather than patient care, but I didn’t get that sense here at all. Would give 10 stars of if I could.”

“Dr. Melinda Spaar was truly wonderful. From the moment we met her, it was clear how deeply she cares—not just about her patients, but about the families who love them. She treated our beloved Chico with such genuine empathy, kindness, and respect. Her communication was open, clear, and heartfelt, and we felt truly heard and supported throughout the entire process—something we hadn’t experienced with our primary veterinarian. The consultation report she provided was incredibly thorough and thoughtfully written, reflecting the time and care she puts into her work. Most importantly, we never felt like just another appointment on the schedule—we felt seen, understood, and cared for. I highly recommend this practice.”

“Great experience, staff updated me a lot during my cats dental cleaning. Dr. Terefe was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks to the nurse. Aliya, who was extra patient and slow with my kitty.”
