“This is a fun auction house with a wide variety of items from Beanie Babies to WW1 Trench Knives. Best of all, it's local(ish) to me! I too was a victim of ProxiBid's f...oul up, it wasn't Quinn's fault and I'm glad they extended it, I was outbid on a couple items I'd won before, but I won a bunch I was closed out of by Proxibid's screw-up. “I have been going here for 25 years. I love it. Lots of bathrooms. Good air conditioning. Fun shops nearby. You have to see the glass aquariums the print studios and the views from the studios around the elevators are fantastic.
We met the current president Edward Mccluney. The sun print artist has items that say torpedo factory that make good gifts.”
“Rich helped me purchase a costume frame for my son's college diploma. He provided excellent service. Excellent knowledge of their current inventory and what matterials might require a long wait due to availability. He gave excellent guidance when it came to determining all the dimensions af the materials that would look best and the colors that would look best. I received the finished framing a little early, which was great, and the frame/boarder around the diploma came put better than I expected it would look. Thanks for all the help Rich!”

“If you're in Old Town Alexandria - plan to visit. Besides scheduled events (like open mic night) the gallery has some unusual and interesting pieces.
Prices are reasonable (YMMV) especially for the jewelry & mixed media items. Gallery has around 30+ artists with different styles & works besides painting.
Kudos to the owner (presenter) - she gives a lot of about presented artists.”

“I'd like to add another well-deserved five star review for International Art Gallery and Custom Framing. I recently brought in my own frame (purchased used and with another print already inside) and a print that I wished to have installed and custom matted for that frame, and we received excellent attention and advice on the best way to make the print fit and how best to accommodate it with a new mat. The proportions of the new print and the old frame were close but not a perfect match and so I knew some compromises would be required, and the owner (I think it was - I'm sorry we didn't get your name!) walked us through the various possibilities, pros and cons of what I wished to do.The end result is perfect, the compromises so minimal that I don't even remember what they were, and he even made some cosmetic touch ups to the used frame which had a scuff here and there. Our living room now looks that much better with our print framed and looking great, and we'll certainly be back as we continue slowly outfitting our house with artwork. I can highly recommend you visit International Art Gallery and Custom Framing and have them handle any framing work!”

“We came here for my wife's birthday to buy her a full yukata. We had been there 4 years prior purchasing some small earthwares that were gorgeous. Everything inside was so beautiful and you can tell the craftsman and store owner took pride in their art. She was also amazing with my wife helping her pick out the perfect yukata showcasing the perfect customer service you see in Japan. We HIGHLY recommend Tokiya Japan and are loyal customers.”

“Saw a display about the Craft Gallery at the local library and went to check it out with my little one to see if we could find a mother's day present and also a birthday present for my niece. I much prefer finding fun and artsy gifts and especially supporting local artists when buying presents. The staff person who greeted us was very friendly and helpful as we explored the different items. There is lots of variety and things are decently priced as well! We found two perfect little gifts for under $20 each that my mom and niece loved. We will l be going back when we need a unique gift for others in the future!”

“Excellent experience! Natalie took extra care and time to ensure I had the best glass type and frame color I was looking for to give a friend her wedding photo. The photo looks stunning against the gold wood color and is easy to see without too much reflection. I had a chance to enjoy the studios and chat with an artist before leaving. Got a call within a month that everything was ready for pickup and it was exactly as described. Will be returning for future photos and also to enjoy the art work at the studios.”
