I was very patient and stayed calm throughout the process. The banker left me 3 times while opening my account to help another client, account opening took over an hour and half, only to find out at the end that the social security number and DOB were both entered incorrectly and now she needs more time to correct! I asked 3 times to confirm that a debit card and a check book were ordered because I had a feeling she didn’t and she was trying to rush me out. The banker told me yes they were. 15 days later I call customer service and they tell me no card nor a check book were ordered!! Unfortunate experience.

Went to open an account, even though they seemed to be very busy on Friday , and had shortage of employees due to Holiday season ,still the Personal Banker Ms Jakelin Ibanez helped me very quick .i am grateful to her .

The manager here, Christopher Kim, did not even want to help, but very unfriendly, unprofessional, unknowledgeable, rude and arrogant, and even threatened to call police while in talk with his customer. While staffs in other banks or branches try to make their customers happy and comfortable, he made his customer very uncomfortable. He even implied that he did not care Citi will lose a customer (closing account). Just noticed that some other reviews for this branch also reported this guy negatively. He brought Citi bad fame. Citi might have lost many customers due to him. Curious why his higher-level staff still retains this guy. He should have been fired/removed from Citi.

The manager, Chris Kim, was unprofessional, rude, and his demeanor showed that he did not want to help. I came to Citibank at 4pm on 07JUL with my mother-in-law to create a joint account. My mother-in-law is an Italian foreign National and brought in two forms of identification, a passport and state ID issued by Rome. She also brought in an original certificate of residency with a translated and notarized copy. We were told by the Citibank helpline that this would suffice. Chris Kim, spent barely one minute looking at the forms and turned us away stating he would not be able to help us and that she needed a driver’s license from Italy that showed her address. He provided a list of other documents and I said I would be able to get it and have it translated. He said no, and that he would have to get it translated and it would take a day or more. The state ID showed her picture and proof of residency. Just like in the United States you can get a state ID if you don’t have a driver’s license. I asked if he I can speak to higher ups, or if he can confirm, but he did not want to. The complete lack of care and his demeanor depicted that he had the urgency to go home and not help clients.

My husband and I can not give Paola and the staff at Citibank on Strawberry Lane enough praise. Paola is always incredibly patient, helpful and all around professional. We have had a few issues with Citibank but through help at this branch have managed to get them sorted. J & T Downey

Very unhelpful staff. I just needed them to send my documents to Credit card unit but they said we can't! This is what other banks like Wells Fargo did it for me without any hesitant!

This place is great- the people are so helpful and patient! I came in about an hour before closing with a big box of world money. Several people took their time to count it all, it was amazing to witness how fast they did it! I would highly recommend banking here if you are wanting five star costumer service.

This is the worst customer service I ever saw while I’m dealing with the bankThis bank must go out of business. If no one believes just go and try and will see you after you open your account.I will never ever never recommend it to no one
